nope both are milk cakes but different tres leches basically means 3 different types of milk and has cream on top and is baked this malai cake is steamed and just has 1 type of milk

U can turn the egg white into a foam by using a fork but it will take some time! Thats it...but can u tell me if i don't use vanilla essence would there be any change?

rashi bhasin I ended up doing it in the oven with a metal pan at 350 degrees. Came out ok.

160 c for 20 - 25 minutes. You can use sugar but condensed milk is the best to get the texture of malai.
