      Previous month I was able to receive my first five figure wage ever!!! I've been working for this company over the internet for twenty four months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing about it is that I am not really that tech-savvy, they only asked for standard awareness of internet and plain typing skill...The best thing about this gig is that now I have more free time with my kids. I am able to spend quality time with my family and friends and take care of my children and also going on holiday break together with them very often. Don't ignore this opportunity and make sure to respond rapidly. Here is what I do *bay25.com*

    I purchased a Dark Angel ankle kit getting use to having it on, not bad so far. I have worn it all day for me that's about 16 to 18 hours. I took the tourniquet out put it the Phlster carrier cause it was annoying me as I walked. I affixed a belt clip to the Phlster carrier and ware the tourniquet on my waist line, so far all is well with the world. Enjoy your videos thanks get up the Great work.

    To fix the problem with the hook and loop dangling..(which was annoying to me on my dark ankle rig). I wear the rig with the large loop panel facing out; the tourniquet sleeve is double sided. I know you had a hard time getting it in, but if the velcro just hanging there annoys you as much as it does me then put the SOFT on the other side and wear the kit the other way with the hook side facing in to secure the kit and that should fix your problem.

    • @srsparky6519
      @srsparky6519 6 лет назад +1

      Glad to share.. It took me awhile to figure it out. It was my only complaint with the rig... but after figuring it out, I couldn't be happier. This rig is by far the best ankle kit I have ever used.

    *I have a similar kit made of a similar elastic type material, originally a $10 ankle holster for a small pistol and two mag pockets, that I converted into a med kit.*
    *Like you mentioned it's hard not keep a minimalist content and have just a few items so as to not print very badly.*
    *I added a pair of trauma shears to mine, secured by a velcro strap.Great way acess a wound fast or cut clothes to turn them into cravates or packing material.*
    *Also 3 rolls of gause, a few 4"by4" gause pads, duct tape, SWAT T tourniquet, 2 pairs of gloves, a sharpie.*
    *I don't have access to commercial (most places in the US don't ship overseas) chest seals so my option is a DIY seal with duct tape + a ziploc bag + shears.*

    • @JoeDurobot
      @JoeDurobot 6 лет назад

      *NAR refuses to ship most of their products outside of the US.*
      *If you can find some dealers willing to ship them overseas a twin pack of Hyfin chest seals is close to $50 when you add the international shipping and export taxes.*
      *I've seen them offered for $15 with free shipping in the US.*
      *It's the same thing with tourniquets ...*

    Take a look at the Fropro SFD Responder, the newer version even has build in rubber sewn in to keep the stuff in. It also has a bit of "Molle-Style receptacles " where you can fix your Pens or decompression needle.

    After a lot of reading I chose the Ryker Nylon ankle kit. In it I have a twin pack Hyfin, SWAT-T, pack of compressed gauze, gloves and a 3" ETD. Fits well and wear when I wear pants.

    Good review. Do you actually like the ankle kit, and will you wear it? I've always thought they're a bit gimmicky and impractical. I did look at getting the Blue Force Gear Micro Trauma Kit NOW (belt/MOLLE compatible), but the pouch alone is $68...

      I suggest getting your feet wet, in retrospect this means gather some basic certifications that fit what you may need to know in the field. Such as Basic Life Support, or lesser just a CPR/AED certification. Of course look into a basic first aid course, you can never go wrong with having that certification. Overall try to familiarize yourself in the subject of medical. Also offered while you’re in highschool is sometimes an Explorer program. You can google what that means for more detail and to maybe look into a program in your area! Good luck man, I am in the same position as you! (I highly recommend American safety health institute certifications, as they are nationally accredited.)

      PrepMedic so true about jeans....
      maybe ankle kits are useful, but I always taught like- wtf are these kits for you can't even reach them. Seriously. Imagine: shootout, you shot bad guy, but he hit your leg. He is no longer a threat, so you can care about yourself now. And you are lying on the ground, trying to reach this sonnabitch, which is on your leg, which got shot, and you lost control over it. Of course bystanders can help, of course you can do it yourself. But in critical situation "not easy to reach" equipment could cost you a life. It's better than nothing, but......

    hmm is not one of the points of the kit to get meds to people when needed? So even if you have one thing that you cannot get out would that not be a fail?
