Thanks for listening. I am very impressed with the treble strong tone on the guitar compared with other classic Gibson acoustics like j45’s, Hummingbird etc.
I love how you look at peace while you’re playing. I don’t know you but it feels as though you are truly doing what you are meant to do in this world. Thank you for being true to yourself.
Hi, Gary. Just an FYI, there seems to be a hiss in the audio here (on my phone any how). I don't recall ever hearing that in any of your past videos. Anyways, just thought I'd mention it since it just posted and only has a few views at this point...in case you weren't aware and wanted to check on it. Good stuff as always & rock on fine sir 😊.
Hi Gary Great playing & great sounding guitars What do you prefer - S1 Pro Plus or Loudbox? I have the Pro Plus, but find my Anthem equipped grand auditorium guitar over powers the S1 Pro Plus and I have to set the Tonematch to roll off the bass at 80hz
I agree it's easy to overpower the S1 Pro Plus. The Loudbox Artist has a lot more headroom. If I could choose only one for acoustic guitar, it would be the Loudbox Artist over the S1 Pro
@@gair1944 I'm a singer as well and the Bose vocal sound is killer - it seems to have a midrange punch that elevates vocals better than other amps I'm just finding using guitars thru the other channel problematic
That's like asking which child do you love more? lol But if I had to pick one, I've had my DC-18E the longest and it has been played the most. It is magical. The HDC-28E is awesome and at times I feel it is the best guitar I have. But amplified, I have to tame the lows to minimize feedback. The Gibson Songwriter is new and I am loving it. It is getting a lot of playing time. Not pictured is a Collings D1 traditional that is other worldly, but it is not cutaway so it goes to fewer gigs because I use the upper register frequently.
Thank you so much for this video! Beautiful and sweet playing btw. Would you please tell me what you are actually playing or improvising during the first two minutes with the Songwriter? Thanks in advance! @Gary Roberts
The trebles on the Songwriter are so SWEET!

Yes, sounds like wind blowing or water rushing. Good demo anyway with the nature sounds. All guitars sound great, especially the D-18.
Damn. Something in my electric or pedal board. Sorry guys. Thanks for letting me know
I need to check and see if I turned off my room humidifier

Wow, that Songwriter sounds beautiful in your hands, Gary!
Thank you. I need to make a new video.
Agreed. I like the way the Martin sounds but man that Gibson just sings!!!!!!
@@Ezemdithanks! The Gibson songwriter custom EC Ebony is getting a lot of stage time! I love it

Very nice demo! And great guitars.
Can you put medium thickness strings on the EC Songwriter or will the heavier strings warp or break the guitar?

All I hear is hiss! 🐍
