This video makes PE look so silly, "talked to PE about the bad efficiency...they said to use a bigger tank". False advertisement. Props to ANS for being transparent.
If PE is trying to hide this, what else are they trying to hide? Just for the bad business practices I wont buy. Paintball is a small community these days, the last thing we need is bad business.
Its all BS marketing. Stop believing it and wait for videos like this. Real world testing bests controlled environments, I’m sure the PE guys are shooting slower or perfectly bore sized paint or other nonsensical tests to boost their numbers that don’t apply to real world scenarios. Great markers but i always wait for video proof and real world testing for accurate results
I feel like Rory got bullied by PE to try and make the CS3 look better. NIB efficiency isn't as accurate as efficiency once the marker is past break-in. Still, it appears the CS2 is more efficient than the CS3 which is kinda hilarious.
I agree I feel bad for the guys at ANS because some of the hate that should be directed at PE will ultimately get shot at them because they made the video showing the problem

Under a field one force video he did some math to have an unbiased number of efficiency. It was shots÷tank fill÷tank size. Came out to 4.19 for the original video. Will post number for the new vid soon. Edit: for refrence the cs2 got 4.7 on the ans test NIB The cs3 achived a 4.59 on this video. So yeah better then before but not amazing

@@davidluurtsemaii2536 it isn’t so much per point, it’s more that some fields only fill to 3-3.5k and when playing 10 man or scenario events you need that efficiency. When you get that 3k fill and playing xball you may not have a fill station close by where you are strapped for time.

Soooo it gets the same number of shots out of a 77/4500 and absolutely ideal conditions as my CS1.5 gets from a 68/4500 with a field fill, all while having a clunkier shot and very meh milling? I feel like PE kinda missed the mark a bit here.
I feel 77 has become more of the standard. It had been 68s for about 10 yrs. Now more companies are doing 80 and 88s which ive seen a lot of ppl using in tournaments. most guns arent that efficient so a bigger tank was needed for the players thay shoot a lot to try and ensure they had enough air to shoot what they could carry. The DLS being able to shoot a case on the (standard) 77 is one of the best out there. The fact that the g6r and viking are only other markers that can come close to that and how old those markers are says a lot. Players who currently uae 68s could run a 45-50 on a dls, and thoae using 88s could run a 77, ppl using 77s currently could downsize to a 68 if wanted and all would still shoot the same amount they were prior with the larger tanks. So ans is correct is testing with 77s since its most commonly used now
Who really cares about efficiency. Imo all that matters for competitive paintball is ball handling, how it points, and feel. You fill up between each point and nobody ia shooting 1400 in a point

If PE weren't out there touting a 20% efficiency boost, no one would care. But at this point they're asking people to pay $1750 for a busted product.
@@leo21-Tit I remember our back player started shooting 9 to 10 pods on average. I used to shoot about 7 pods with a 68/45 4k fill, when I use to play competitively. Now, I just shoot 2 pods max but I only play woods ball and half the time I play with my SM1 pump

They told you exactly what they did. If they added a 77 without telling you or didn’t tell you they hooked it to the compressor, then I’d agree with you. They are showing exactly what it will do in the best case scenario so customers know what they are getting .
So PE said to increase tank volume to get more shots.... what a load of BS this is. Efficiency tests are always done with 68 to get the best comparison, thats just the standard. Ofcourse the numbers are going to look better than they did with the 68. These 1600 shots say nothing compared to all other guns tested. The DLS does 2000 shots from a 77 to give a comparison.
I dont know how long youve been around in paintball but this is an outlier for them. That's why theres a panic about it. They have a reputation of excelence to keep. But they really need to just take this L
Whenever new engines or guns roll out they always have issues, pe has always had just as many problems they just have a better platform for getting help from a tech quickly I.E. facebooks pe tech hub or general customer service compared to other companies BUT only sometimes. I'm sure PE will release a fix for efficiency if it's an error in something they changed from testing to release and it's now back fired. My problem is the logic behind what you're trying to say Rory, you've been in the game long enough to know that a bigger tank is obviously NOT the guns efficiency increasing. By that logic my Bob Long insight/gi victus is insane compared to a cs3, I run a 90ci and can shoot over a case of paint so by the logic PE is forcing you to use my Victus has 50% performance increases over a cs3. I can out shoot a cs3 on a 68/4500 and I dont chop paint either, and I paid $350 for it, so by this logic PE has gone backwards in time, taking efficiency away, removing the optical trigger so taking more money off the product, in turn reducing altogether cost of manufacturing and everything while putting out a lesser product than something from 8 years ago or even their last release. The lv2 was an indicator for me. Taking things away is not improvements and changing the lpr around to get rid of the a/t was no ground breaking engineering that they needed a decade to figure out...

I wouldnt. Its really soft on paint. I havent seen a video of it breaking a ball yet. So if your playing a tourney buy the most brittle paint and dont worry about the breaks. Hopefully

Didn't even get 1600 shots with a 77 tank...dyes new marker got over 100 shots more off of a smaller tank.

It’s funny they said most used a 77. That may be true but that doesn’t change efficiency at all.
