I like this concept. “Budget” farming. All the other farm channels have family operations that are multiple generations old and have millions of dollars worth of equipment. I’m not mad at them, but it’s cool seeing how “cheap” you could get started. At the end of the series you should do a cost breakdown of what it cost for equipment, repairs, seed, etc and show the numbers.

My dad is one gen, we have had at one point million wort of equipment probably, when the harvesters were new :D Started independent farming in around 91, with old equipment together with other people from occupier(by russians) formed kolhoz that were disbanded then. Had to share cow farm buildings, plows, tillers, seeders, everything :) Basically had a tractor and shared equipment. Only people with knowledge and persistence (and some with susbstantial pull) made it as modern farmers.

It's nice to see old equipment getting another chance at life and glad to see the 68 is still doing well and I guess it is a good thing that the heater works as good as it does especially for the age of the truck. Kevin can finally start his dream of planting corn.

@@JunkyardDigs for sure! And the barn that you have been going to in Sigourney are you by chance going back? Bcs I live there and would it be a possibility for you guys to stop by? My mother has homemade jelly that she would love to give away! If you can’t that is TOTALY fine!

These reviving farm equipment videos are the best videos I have seen on your channel yet and I have been a subscriber for a while now. I am having so much fun watching this. You are reviving the backbone of America. Please make a ton more of videos like this.

I'm not a farmer, but Agriculture was a required subject in High School. I was more of a Rancher, grandfather was a real cowboy, but my Dad had the grocery store so I was well versed in farming. I love the videos, look forward to more! This is real recycling!

You might just end up with some corn after all...... But how are you going to harvest????

I have to be honest what first caught my attention to the channel was I thought you were Tucker from the insidious movies. Reviving the farmall definitely hooked me. The lo Boy at 40:16 and the front loader at 40:47 was a nice added bonus. Looking forward to future harvesting videos 👍

Brings me back to my summers as a teen helping my uncle on the farm. I had a flashback when you said, "It doesn't have to work well it just has to work," and again when you backed the truck into the disk.
