+Joltout Just a quick question: Did you ever tried one of the first person cameras (cockpit or hood-view?) I personally always play racing games in a first person camera mode and find it quite weird to use an external camera. In Redout I personally find external cameras to offer more overview over upcoming corners especially on inclines (as the camera is supended higher) but find the cockpit-view much less distracting and calmer (almost slower because of the smaller FOV) than using the external camera. It would be nice to hear what experiences you had with different camera settings and if you can archive better results with one over the other.
I'm quite the opposite to you lol, I only ever use external cameras with few exceptions (fallout, skyrim, etc). I have tried the first person cameras in Redout but, as per usual, I disliked them and switched back. There is a close 3rd person camera though that the game defaulted to after one patch and I kept it at that because I didn't know any better at the time, but after changing to the current camera, I got way better and more comfortable. Honestly it's just down to personal preference here from what I can tell.
I want to get this game, but my PC is not enough powerful to make it justice. I have seen ads of Xbox One X. I am gonna get it with this game. So excited. On the another hand, people online say the best controller to play is the Xbox controller. Are you playing with which controller?
I did the same, I did the preorder for xbox one. Someone told me I can play it first on a regular xbox one and then just download the game again on the xbox one x. Which is great for me, one of my coworkers has a xbox one so we will play it together there till I put my hands on the better version. I got a 4k tv last month, I want the best experience. Hope to see you online!
By the way, I am super fan of the old FZero GX, reason because I am so bumped for this game. I have been seeing reviews, what do you think so far? I think it is freaking awesome! We need more of this kind of games in consoles!
It doesnt really matter. The best players in the world use everything from keyboard to nice controllers to garbage controllers. You just have to be skilled with the input device of your choice.

i play it on pc 1440p max with the elite controller it is awesome!

I didn't get to play with the fastest speed class, so I don't know the limits yet. It's still quite fast tho ;)

The scenery goes by too quickly for you to even register or appreciate it. Not a fan of this one.
You will appreciate the scenery at early stages playing this game when your ships are much slower. I bought this game recently and I love it
The point is to be fast and focus on the goal. Not look at the scenery
@@stareater4629 Wipeout Omega Collection is so much better at both that it's not even funny.
I love this game i use the conquerer majority of the time,and im about 80% on trophies. Everybody has a different taste tho.
