Mine drops about 15mm when I sit on it then pops back up when I get off it, any advise on how to fix it? I originally thought it needed air but I’ve tried that an it’s still the same.
This has happened to my A2 post too. Air has been forced past the bush/grommet/Al piston with o rings internally. A fault caused by lifting the bike by the saddle when dropped ( I am guilty of this). Two ways to fix. 1st may work. Turn bike upside down, compress post fully then expand, repeat. 2nd way strip the post to remove the air. I have a video on how I did this.
air out before that? I am scared this will blow up if not deflated...
The is held in a air canister which is separate from the seal. Unlike a forks, the seal is not part of the air chamber (like my Bluto forks).
@@North3rdMediashort : no deflate

@@North3rdMedia thanks pal, I’ll give these a go. 👍
You must have the C (latest) version. Early versions did not have this bleed valve unfortunately.
it probably needs to be sent to rockshox directly for a damper bleed, sadly a common issue. I see them in the shop I work in all the time.
