Daniel, the hangers you have in the back are coats hangers, hence the rounded ends in order to help preserve the roundness in your sweaters and coats. You’re better off using regular hangers for space efficiency :)

I think you should get the book "The Local Project" for your apartment, it's aesthetically pleasing and it shows beautiful homes all throughout Australia and Tasmania with stunning architecture and interior design and could potentially assist you with ideas if you ever build your own house. I personally have it myself and I love it and just thought I'd recommend it.
