Peri's not a bully now, but up until she was an adult she could often be mean to people & bullied even her own mum, telling her Teegan was out of her coma & Jade at her most fragile. What surprises me really is although school bullies can't always remember their victims identities, Peri didn't put it together when she learned Rayne's original name.
"I'm not a bad person I'm not bully" Peri may be a good person now but she was a bully, even the viewers have seen evidence on screen of her bullying two people. Lily and Jade are watching Peri from heaven, side eyeing her like; "this bich" 😆

@@paulbreckon9577 Peri was not 10 when she bullied Lily or Jade. She was old enough to know that bullying people is a horrible thing to do. I never said that Peri is a bad person but she’s needs to acknowledge that she did do some messed up crap and acknowledge that she was a bully (which she does in todays episode)

I still think Hollyoaks is jumping the shark a little bit with this, I mean yes okay Peri hasn’t been the most innocent of kids back then (and even before her arrival in the village apparently) buuuuut this kind of feels a bit out of nowhere and they were like “quick! We need a reason to make people think Peri killed Rayne what do we do? Any ideas? Anybody? Make Peri her school bully, perfect!!” 🙄

By the way the letter sounded it feels like the situation was manipulated to make Peri appear like a bully.. The letter suggests it being extremely out of character for her because she's otherwise being a model student. Meaning there's more to this than meets the eye.

Yep, Jade back in 2016 who struggled with cancer and Lily back in 2018 who struggled with self-harm.

When she first came to hollyoaks tho I remember her as a sweet innocent child who only ended up a bully in high school especially after being around nico, and when she was younger her nan sam was pretending to be her mum so she had everything under control so she was very strict, but at the time of bullying jade leela was too busy running after Cameron or arguing with him causing problems. Deffo wasn't right she was bullying jade but she had a murderer and schemer of a friend and serial killer of a dad. I'm not surprised hearing she was a bully I'm just surprised hearing she was a bully at that age when I remember her being so sweet before getting involved with the wrong people!

Surely Peri should remember if she was a bully to Raine especailly with the letter saying they had to investigate, thats something peri would remember? I remember being real quiet at school and never hassled anyone else, that was 40 odd years ago.

@ChelseyLinden Yeah, I mean, if I was a bully, I would definitely remember it. Because I remember very clearly I wasn't. And I'd have the same reaction to Peri if I was accused of that. Something seems fishy... just can't quite put my finger on it...

I'm guessing Peri didn't recognize Rayne when she came to the village. Maybe Rayne recognized Peri and decided to take revenge on her, but what makes this part of the storyline slightly unbelievable is that before viewers saw the video of Peri bullying Rayne, it hadn't been previously established that Peri even knew Rayne or that Peri bullied her when they were children or even that they went to the same school 🏫 together. Also the casting for the child Rayne is slightly off as she doesn't resemble Jemma Donovan and yet Peri's child actor looks exactly like Peri actress Ruby O'Donnell. Either was I hope the killer is revealed soon because it feels as if this storyline has been dragging on for ages.

Oh my OA I really didn’t know that Peri even when she was a Child she was a bully to Rayne back then I guess it all makes sense now to why Rayne was like this towards Peri because of her Childhood. I know we’ve met Rayne’s Mother but it makes me wonder about her Father and if we’ll ever get to meet him in the village I know it’s hard for Peri to remember this but even if it is true she’s going to have to realize that she was a bully even back in high school to Jade and Lily. I feel sorry for her she really shouldn’t be paying attention to the trolls I also still don’t ship Leela with Joel she can do with someone better in the village I do still wish Cleo was here but I know the actress has retired but still I do wish Leela would be with someone else. 😒

Like why establish this after her death? The two girls never even mentioned they knew each other. Nothing even hinted at that. No one who has been bullied by someone wouldn’t bring it up especially if they saw them whether they are over it or not.
This is so stupid 🙄 if they wanted to go along with this they shouldve came up with the idea when rayne was alive so it looked like she knew peri. She was a bully but as a child she was sweet and innocent it was when she got to high school things changed. Idk either hollyoaks are being rediculous or rayne had set all this up before her death and hid the letter in leelas so that if people found out she kidnapped peri she had an explanation, or maybe after she sorted out her career she was going to tell brent to let her go after she told everyone so when peri got back shed have no respect and no one would listen to her. Something isn't right especially since peri was a great kid at this age because sam (leelas mum) was also peris mum at this point so she had everything under control and would've sorted peri out if she'd done anything like this. I hope that there is something behind it because hollyoaks is becoming unrealistic now. Its makes me think did rayne come to the village just for peri even though she had no clue who she was and never properly interacted with her till after juliet died?? If someone planted the letter they would've had to have known sam was peris mum at the time which i could imagine rayne finding this out or stalking her social media etc or its got to be raynes killer that also knew. Id rather a twist like this than it to be true because hollyoaks are forgetting theres no chance rayne even knew peri but all of a sudden had a video on her laptop which wasnt even hidden in a file which could be another reason why its a set up, maybe if she was planning to set peri up before she died she wanted romeo or lacey to find it 🤔 I'm hoping it isn't true!!
