Very nice. It might seem a small thing, but i love the fact that BMW always use Red dash lights. They are far better for night driving. I was looking at the X5, but am gravitating more to buying an X3. Probably 2012 - 2014 model. Thanks for the video.
I love X3 35i. My dad has one (I persuaded him to buy it :) ), also M Sport and 2014. I believe that your videos was the one I showed him to check out this model. It drives so suprisingly good for SUV. Really, it drives like much smaller and not so tall car. And the perofmance is great. I did xHP stage 3 chip for the gearbox - which I totally recommend. The only thing that annoys me a lot is the wind noise from door-mirror area. My E39 is much quieter inside for like 120-160km/h on highway.
My neighbor has this for sale, but it has 170km on it. I'm a bit worried about the reliability to last 5 years without any major repairs. Any recommendations?
35i? 28i has timing chain problems. 35i is very good engine. Just ask for maintenance history records, whatever hasn’t been serviced just do it as preventative maintenance. Make sure moonroof works and doesn’t leak too. Check all electrical functions , windows, idrive , buttons …
Do you still have this today? I'm considering getting a 70-100k mile N55 X3 as a daily driver and I'm wondering how has it been reliability wise?I'm pretty handy and know how to work on my own cars but I don't want to buy a money pit. At the same time I also don't want a boring but bulletproof car like an RX350 or RDX.
And when I thought it was loud inside, he says the opposite. It's probably from the mic, I suppose, seems pretty loud in the cabin. Great POV and video, gotta see more!
Thanks Wayne! These mics pick up eveeeerything. Its certainly no S class, but its not a noisy ride. I'd need to spend some highway long miles with it to really make the assessment though.
Is that your hawk eye by chance? I live in mass have a Hawkeye wagon and I'm selling it for this exact BMW hahaha too funny. Guess I'll have to stop by Bren tunning, how does it compare pick up wise to a small turbo wrx?
@@philliesphan334 I have an x5 and I love it. I bought my mom a f25 BMW X3 and I was surprised that the x3 moves better compared to the BMW X5. So if you ever deciding to buy an x bmw. You should choose the bmw f25 3.5i or if you have a lot of money you should buy the bmw x3m. But one thing, I love the BMW X5 looks it just looks so good. And compared to suv at that size the x5 handles the best it got, speed, power and luxury.
You drive this suv with a lot of love and respect, especially compared to the POV drivers who totally abuse the heck out of them.

I have a 2011 35i x3 and I have to say it is such a fun car to drive and handles surprisingly well. Can’t imagine what the m version is like
Very jealous of the ZF8. The ZF6 in my N55 e92 is the part that makes it feel the most dated.

Well it turned out that I bought it from my father... and I love it.
A competition package M3? Film her driving please.
Will do..The neighbors call her "White Lightning" because m3 is white lol
Tedward Time to convince my mom to buy an M3 😂. Wish me luck.
Here is the day she brought it home... Waaaay back when I just started RUclips ruclips.net/video/7YQ9_ZTfiFE/видео.html
What's that repetitive clicking noise at 2:37?
Rare option. Quite pricey. But if you opt for the "Blinker Package" you can avoid confrontations and even collisions with other drivers!
I Think he said that it was the brakes.
from what i read the m sport is just a 40/60 split on torque. i have a 2011 x3 35i m sport and love it.
I know that road! 3:23 Fun little spot off 140 in Upton. Nice channel, I'm from Uxbridge.
Thanks man! I grew up around Upton.. been through Uxbridge mannnny times
I learned something watching. The heads up white to red.
So when you switch it to sport and sport plus does the exhaust get louder and sportier?
the ultimate DD, i had one for a day and it was perfect and pretty fast
Beautiful review, cannot get over how smooth it was over bumps even in sport mode,no road noise either.Tell me though are the tires staggered sizes?
Did you ever end up tuning ?
Your mom drives E90 M3, now that is cool
my mom used to have e90 335i 6speed and she sold it so now she drives f30 335i 6speed M sport :D
#coolmoms
my mom used to have a E90 335i but auto 😂
I’m finding these for low 20s all day 😄😄😄
Ya think about getting one I want a x4 tho but very hard to find and cost a bit too much
Im on my 2nd n55 they are really reliable tbh
Tedward. Hey my dad would not let me take his car. You must be her 1st child they get all the good stuff! Lol
I'm the baby! my sister is 2 years older. Not great idea to give her the cars tho!
How it s that option TedWard? for white and red for head up display and the clocks? This option exists on 2.0 Diesel / Petrol 2012-13 x3 f25??

How do you close the trunk from the inside

I'm in the same spot. Watching this video in 2022, as a buyer with a 20k budget, this was a big brainier for me

Seems very quiet. Is it or is it your mic?
It hears what i hear.
I'm at a toss-up between the X1 35i and the X3 35M sport....
Cilindrate?

Not mine but Bren does great work on Subaru’s so that’s an easy recommendation
Hey Tedward, will you be coming to Nick Murray’s winter meetup?
I'll be there
These are easy to mod same as 335i right?
Yup should be the same
Do you think X5s handle?
Bobby Krepek
Oh yea of course
Not as good as the x3
@@Frosty-cu8tr of course but I'm wondering how they handle for a big SUV

Nope it’s an n55

Nope this is the Gasoline N55 version
looks very stiff and not very comfy for a SUV but its BMW ^^
BMW suvs drive like sports cars, it’s a design philosophy.
