I got mine for 50$ with a 64gb. Love it. Had it been 99$ I never would've bought it.
Same here.. It's a nice system, but $60 price point was more than enough
@JonPasq I spent like $10 on a Kingston 128 SD card. Copies files from the original to the new card and installed crossmix. It was a super simple process. But spending more ... I would feel bad since I don't really play that often. And the TSP scratches the itch when I want to play.
I just got one for $47 125gb on sale. I saw the $99 title and went WTF?
Follow up on this. I have installed gta3 and VC, from Portmaster, and Stardew Valley. It is an excellent device.
I tried moonlight which worked but my laptop was a bit old so took a while to start.
@ If you install the Crossmix custom firmware, you can choose between several different emulators by pressing the ▲ button on the game selection screen. Different emulators work better with different games. I found that the older 1.5 version of PPSSPP emulator worked better with older games. You can test them all out to see which works better with which games.
Is everyone ready for a great show
The TSP is solid. The sticks do suck to keep it pocketable. Though the sticks don’t have cardinal snapping like an Anbernic which is nice. You really don’t get half the use out of the TSP until you install Cross-MixOS
CrossMix OS is a huge improvement over the locked stock OS, but I have still had freezing while using CrossMix 1.0 software. Knulli is available, but moving ROMs involve using Wi-Fi because of the file format and Portmaster compatibility.
I want to buy the grips. Heard they are a game changer.
Now you can install the new CFW ,”muOS banana”, on the H700 anbernic devices and the cardinal snapping doesn’t exist anymore.
@@intransition8548 that's pretty interesting, I had heard that it was more of a software problem than hardware problem, and that changing out analog sticks wouldn't affect cardinal snapping. How do you like MustardOS Banana? I have used ArkOS, Knulli and CrossMix
This show is is gonna be awesome I love this show
Let's get it 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊
Thanks for the run down on the TSP, and Go Braves!
The retropocket 5 looks beautiful, but im loving how i can put the trimui in my pocket and go anywhere
Pocket 5 is over $200 tho right?
Great video buddy!
How does it handle DS ? I was hoping to see that here, Especially with the amount of games there. Mario Kart DS would have been a good one to show. How does the save function work ? Even if Pokémon was on the Nintendo consoles it won't matter without a proper save option
The Trimini Smart Pro is decent but isn't worth it at the price at $99. At that price point, it is $25 away from a Retroid Pocket 4, which has a more powerful chipset and better analog sticks, although it takes more work with Android to get everything set up.
Finally, haha I was looking for this comment. Thank you.
@@robertwolfgan You're welcome, $100 is a lot to pay and it puts this device in the range of more powerful, better designed and better supported (software) devices. Any extra $25 will get you a better retro experience with better emulation of more recent systems.
Am i wrong or you can find it for about 60 euro (65$) on aliexpress?
@AlexMnl which one? Triniti or Retroid P4?
Trimui @@robertwolfgan
I just bought two for $80 together. Completely worth it
Why does your thumbnail look like you are sitting on the toilet in a public restroom and someone walked in without knocking and you forgot to lock the door? lol 🤣
Well damn thanks dude now everyone knows exactly what happened! 🤣🤣🤣
Much prefer the Trimui Brick - pretty much same hardware smaller, vertical and more premium feeling. Only games I would play on either the Brick or Smart Pro are GB, GBC, GBA, SNES and Pico 8. I always buy mine without the card and do my own config.
How does the keyboard systems play on this? I fear there are going to be games that are unplayable just as there are on the external disk drived emulators.
If you paid $99 USD for that, you was cheated, is about $55-$60 USD in aliexpress.
Doesn't have as many games for those versions and those come with a generic sd card
@@OfficialChaseBroganStill worth it since it's cheaper... $50 for that handheld and $10 for a SD card. Just add your own games, easier and better that way
Nope... youre wrong sir...
I bought mine on ali and mine came with an official 128 gb Sandisk and i paid 48.99 usd and ALSO got a free trimui branded case!@OfficialChaseBrogan
@@Mosestyleznope. Custom sd is the way to go with this device. Would take months for me to get it set up with all the hacks and ports you get on the custom sd. Don’t be cheap.
@@jayrobinson4080what is a custom SD? I got a trim UI for $50 No SD card and ordered 1 on my own.. do you recommend a good CUSTOM SD CARD?
I got my TSP a couple of weeks ago and my shoulder buttons have the same depth whether pushing them on the side or top or middle.
I read somewhere they were replacing the top buttons so I am wondering if yours might be from an older batch?
The unnumbered lists are all in alphabetical order, which includes all the "others" lists. Those numbered lists are supposedly like curated "best of" lists and fortunately shorter. If you wanted to take the time, you could delete the numbers from the front of the rom names and they'd be in alphabetical order. Also, with a lot of the PSP games, Ridge Racer for sure, if you just turn off reflections in settings you'll get full speed, even if it looks a little flat.
Interesting, I’ve been looking into something like this something cheap and on the go. But not sure if it’s worth the money.
I was also looking into a retro of pocket 5, however it is abit more expensive, but can emulate more systems which is always. Plus.
Excuse my ignorance but does this trimiu carries king of fighters 98 ? Or any other SNK games ? Thank you
Yes. All of them for game boy and neo geo. Neo geo mvs as well.
As well as snk vs capcom
Can anyone fill me in why the channel was changed to chase brogan ? Great episode
Hi everyone and i thought they already did a video on this awhile ago I'm kind of confused
This device is like a year old now...........
I have this device its pretty cool but u need this cross mix os
You can try adding Knulli, it is more involved than CrossMix, but it is still developing as opposed the work on CrossMix has stopped since final version 1.0
How much is were can you find it
Does this have the original Pokémon games on it?
Yo peeps. The extra you are paying here is for the quality SD and the time to curate and set up the card load. For me having that ready to go is a plus, I have to much going on to take the time to set up a blank unit. if you have the time and skilz maybe buying the unit + card from these guys is not for you. Geting a ready to rock unit from a reputable dealer is worth a few dollars.
Hey 👋 everyone
👋
Fyi Nintendo charging cords work and for Samsung phones ECT
Got to get those peepers checked pops 😂
How does gc and ps2 play
It can’t handle those two. It does up to Nintendo 64, a lot but not every PSP game (may need to tweak the graphical settings a bit to get some games to run smoothly), a decent amount but not all of Dreamcast, and the same for Nintendo DS (but it didn’t have a touchscreen so you have to use the analog stick to behave like the stylus).
For PS2 and and GC, you want something like the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro or spend about $45 more and get the new Retroid Pocket 5. Some other handhelds that can do SOME PS2 and GameCube are the Anbernic RG556 and RG Cube, a few others. Anything with a T820 processor or above will get you playing some of the PS2 / GC but it can he hit or miss depending on the title, plus you’re spending anywhere from $150-$250.
@@greyghostinfinitealso to add in it does play up to 60-70% of the ps1 library.
@@jordanrayo2425what ps1 game can’t it play?
Bought for 80€ 128gb version.
it's $50 on ali express
If you pay 99 you were scammed. It's around 50.
RP4s are only $125?!
I have LITERALLY never received one of these consoles with a BRANDED CARD (Other than KOIXIA that I guess it counts as they are somewhat reliable, in the "crappy chinese SD cards" category), so you either set this up with the seller, or you've put it there yourself and edited to make it look good (then again why would you be trying to pry open that obviously glued casing).
This was bought from the store I linked to in the description. I wouldn't set that up. It costs more from where I got it from than buying on aliexpress but I rather pay more for a better setup and a reliable branded card.
I got one for less than 70$… 99$ is a ripoff even with good sd card included
if you paid $99 you paid...$40 too much. The actual price for this device is about $55...poor title
RGG with another handheld
What POS system
Cost me 10 pounds to buy ..sweet...
