This is probably the most hyped I’ve ever been for any character release in history. She’s been teased for ages, looks sick, kit looks sick, *and she has her own theme song.*

They should try new cinematic flares for POTG videos, like slow-motion during big explosions, camera angles and camera attachments like this for ultimates like Genji's, Junker Queen's, Soldier's, any ultimate that feels like that rush of adrenaline. Having POTGs be just a replay from the player's point of view can be quite lame and give us that feeling "oh, he just pressed Q, big deal" when at least some cinematograpjhy will make it cooler to watch even if you were at the losing side of it.

I dont know why they decided to give her basically roadhogs hook, why not come up with something new for that part? Kinda worries me that roadhog might be played less or something.

DaMoose it looks like it’s got a tradeoff of more damage in exchange for less pull power, so id say it’s significantly different enough to be interesting
@@Damoose77 It's a little different because I think you can choose when you pull them in after throwing the knife and they don't get up close and personal with you, they just get pulled in your direction

Her kit fits my play style very well I’ve never been a sit back tank I love being aggressive and Ik “everyone’s crazy over the new hero” and everybody wants to play them but I feel like I’m the long run she’s definetly gonna be one of my mains

I don't know why but Sombra's expression (0:52) when being hit was a really good addition. Overall seems like a fun hero!

@@TimothyMark7 that'd be 450 health, it only gives 100 health to allies and 200 to junkerqueen, which still sounds busted imo getting dove by a 250 health tracer every fight

I like the expressiveness of Junker Queen. I don't know if these types of facial animations will be applied to pre-existing heroes or newer ones, but it looks so good~!

@@DaffyTaffy93 do you mean high? Wouldn’t the support queues increase because more people would be playing the new hero? That’s why last beta the tank and damage queues were higher.
@@mikem0ke The third beta will have the first new support, the Kanazaka Fox Girl (not her actual name but we have little to go off of). It's just the beta, they're not throwing in everything at once.

So, her Melee is her Axe, her primary ability is a throwable knife that tugs a stabbed hero to you, her secondary ability is a shout of sorts, armor boost?, and her Ult is Magnetic Charge.

we were supposed to get this in overwatch 1 but some1 decided it would be better to slap a 2 behind the game title and hold off on updates for that exact reason..game hype was dead and they needed this tor evive it...for 3 days.

It took me a while to get out of my medic-comfort-zone & play someone like Ashe, but I'm getting better with her. This trailer just made me want to see how I do with Junker Queen immediately, rather than play as a healer. Can't wait!
She looks really cool with her knife being able to pull in enemies, the shotgun, axe and ultimate. This is definitely a character i'm intrigued by, especially sense i wanted more new tank characters in overwatch.
The knife thing is literally Roadhog's hook, minus the chain.

I'm happy, Overwatch was the game that marked me the most, I have so much fun playing it and following the story. It looks like the game is finally changing for the better, now we can only hope that it stays that way.

At this point, if you keep expectations low, you won't be disappointed.
With it being f2p they def will have a nice amount of players at all times. They just need to nail the live service part.

Im constantly impressed how much these trailers show without giving any concrete visual information on how the hero is actually gonna play.
I really hope this game is revived. I’ve always loved it since it’s release in 2016 (even though I only started in 2018) and haven’t stopped playing since (obviously had some breaks). The gameplay is just so much fun and satisfying at the same time. I really hope it becomes popular again.
I have been playing it since it came out and been on and off. But still play it couple of times a week. Still love it a lot even though updates have pretty much died awhile ago.

I know it's really early, but, if I might make a suggestion for a skin... The Marauder from DOOM Eternal, or something close to it.
The Junker Queen has a lot of similarities to the playstile of the Marauder demon in DOOM's battle mode, the axe swing, a thrown blade, big shotgun, and buffing abilities. The only thing she's missing is a demon spirit wolf attack dog.
It would be a huge nod to the DOOM community if she had a gladiator like skin with green armor, and or a voiceline for eliminating any omnic heroes, similar to the Marauder's line "You were never one of us."
they should give her a skin inspired on Noi from Dorohedoro, it would be perfect.

Similar story with Mei. She's a sweet, caring young woman who wants to contribute to the world. And then in game she freezes you solid and impales your skull with a foot long ice spike.

You can also spend money on various cosmetics, styles and taunts.

@@mysticalcobra2893 the knife is really different bc it does not pull the enemy directly to junker queen like hog, the enemy is just going to get "booped" to junker queen, if the enemy is near her, is basically a hog hook but if the enemy is far from the queen he is just going to get booped for a small distance to junker queen but not directly in front of her

She's basically a mini roadhog in concept. Mini shotgun, mini hook designed as a thor's hammer,
The knife throw that lets her choose when to pull the enemy afterwards seems like a very original CC mechanic.
Hog getting pulled into the ilios well felt so good! Finally a hero that can contest him.
