I had the same problem with my '65 Le Mans. Passenger side went in with no problem. The driver side was off just like yours. I think its common. On driver side just grind opening up a little. It was like an 1/8 off, just the width of the bushing insert.
I'm doing basically the same thing you are with a 64 Pontiac using almost the same exact stuff I had the same problem with a lower control arms had to bend them to get them in and the coil spring compressor the same problem couldn't get it out from inside the spring what I had to do was I took my air chisel with like a punch attachment and I hit the pin with the ear chisel k n o c k e d the pin right out took one of the ears off and everything came right out the bottom
Nice ,.. I'm currently building the same project. Warm greetings from Germany
Sometimes the spring compressor component will drop out the lower shock hole.

I finally got it to go in, thanks for watching and thanks for the insight!

Air chisel not ear chisel voice text LOL
Thanks for sharing that solution!
I have the same kit OPGI front suspension, I had problems with the rubber boots not lasting. Any problems with yours and have you ran them?
I haven't ran them yet...
Where did you get your front control arm( upper) bolts from, ordered tubular arms but need new bolts?
I ran into the same problem. I got the bolts from BMR Suspension (bmrsuspension.com) part number RH006.
Thanks!
That castle nut is only supposed to be finger tight...hope you didn't over tighten
You film it to fast and not enough light and you don’t show how to put the bolts in
Would you be interested in selling the box of front end components that you are not gona need
Possibly, shoot me a message on Instagram - Themiddleagedgoodtimers
