incredible looking collection!! Very envious of your collection (in total not just the Traveller). And here I was applauding myself in getting a to start to filling 2nd shelf of Traveller, 3 months into first getting into it 40 years later than I should have, without being divorced by my wife.

Awesome! Thousands upon thousands of hours browsing, delving, picking what you need - and enjoying fond memories, I suppose.

I had no idea there were that many deck plans! I’m going to TravellerCon in October and I’ll look for some of those books.

I am very jealous of this collection. People tend to be impressed by my Traveller collection, but it's nowhere near this size. I have most of the LBBs, but lack most of the boxed games from the Classic era, and most of the 3rd party products. I also have huge gaps in MT, TNE, and 4th.
I take solace in the fact that I do have Book 8, and all the reprint volumes ;)

I had one of the black books (don't remember which) and the core set in the blue box from 1983. I was fascinated with it, but I never played much. Had one great, memorable character creation session and spent some time writing adventures. Otherwise, my experience with Traveler is a great deal of regret. I really WANTED to play it. Also, I didn't know the card game was even a thing. The core box is now ordered :).

I should add that game iconography is often an all or nothing affair. You latch onto it immediately or you don't.

I did some play with Traveller as a teen, and have friends from then who remember the handful of sessions I ran fondly, but have played it far more in the past decade than I ever did back in the day. I do a little house ruling around unifying the core mechanic, but otherwise it plays pretty well RAW.
I need to get back to the card game at some point. I played it a little, and it seemed interesting, but never really got into it.

I didn't notice any Hero System Traveller. I have had three, and currently have one of the supplements and thought they were very ggod.
They also kept the color scheme. Only using the designating color of the book as the primary with black striping. Except on the setting book, which remanes black.

even got the dust cover on The Traveller Book hard cover
Pocket Empires is pure gold and all alone. Never seen anything like it.
would love to actually play it. Looks amazing

My jaw kept dropping as I watched. I knew you were "into" Traveller, but OMG! You've got a living museum for the game throughout its history and may productions. Nice collection! Which Traveller do you prefer to play?

My preferred is Mongoose Traveller 2 for extended campaigns, but Classic Traveller for one-shots.

The upside down spine text probably came from another country. I know the French use bottom to top, for example. That said, never underestimate the ability of humanity to screw things up.
