I used to hate Dave Matthews when I was in H.S. Years later, I realized he was an amazing songwriter. I was being really immature. People like what they like, and resonate with what they feel. But people have hated on Dave Matthews for a long time, even in demographics that should support him. I feel it's just really immature, kinda like I was in H.S. This is my favorite song by him, and his solo performance is really pure of heart.
A lot of people hated them or thought it was cool to hate them. But I always liked them and knew they were good. Some people really woke up to their talented musicianship. Dave and the band are great and have good songs.
As a music venue - Dave would be the ultimate privilege to host. Dig my grave and order the coffin if he ever appears on our stage! I will die a happy man!
