As someone who didn't play Final Fight or Street Fighter at any point in time until SFXT's dying days, I was wondering why this guy had a unique moveset compared to the other thugs and I looked in the menu wondering if he was an NPC with a character's style. Then noticed that katana move and realized I'd be in for a nice fight.
Definitely one of my highlights of World Tour. I enjoyed fighting and hearing Carlos' theme and I'm glad Capcom did the protagonist of Final Fight 2 justice!
It's strange to think of Carlos as Brazilian when everything about him is so Mexican; from this theme, to his looks and his taste for tacos and chili beans.
Thanks for the heads-up about the official release of the OST; Capcom really exceeded my wildest expectations in terms of the breadth of the release, and it looks like it'll definitely be worth the wait. Hopefully it's also purchasable outright, in addition to being available on streaming. And thanks as always for continuing to make the tracks available for us to listen to in the meantime!

You can tell someone on the staff really likes Carlos Miyamoto, they could've very easily made him a part of the Fighty Mighty quest as a cute little easter egg, but instead he got his own quest line with a new design, unique interactions, and a theme that could very easily pass off as a playable character theme

Really wack they killed Haggar off before they made him playable in a mainline SF game so hopefully we get showered with other Final Fight characters as DLC if not really well made costumes (bordering on reskin) for existing characters.

Honestly all I personally want to see are Akira, Makoto, and Dudley in this game. Sean incorporating Laura/Ken moves would be pretty sick too.

Well he has no zoning techniques except for the slide kick which is easy to dodge, but I kinda get ya since that Katana move is unblockable and eats your HP like a flesh eating virus

Yes. That is Carlos Special Move in Final Fight 2. It is invincible and hits enemies on both sides. He even has his chain combo from the game.

@@NandolfBlockbuster Cody and Poison are almost shoe ins. I'm curious if they will bring back Lucia or if they might opt to bring in some first timers like Dean or Maki.
Honestly all I personally want to see are Akira, Makoto, and Dudley in this game. Sean incorporating Laura/Ken moves would be pretty sick too.

Haggar shows up on Cody ending on SF V....he shows up on Lucia intro story I think....he is most likely running for governor or senator nowadays
@@tokyobassist The funny thing is Maki was already a character in Street Fighter, she made her official SF debut all the way back in Alpha 3 Upper and if I remember correctly, they recycled her character from Capcom vs SNK 2

Ohhhh yeah big big chune!! Massive respect to the team that put this one together!! Let's be real though, FF2 Carlos was pretty lame in design and execution but gaddamn did he get a serious upgrade for SF6. This one and Rudra's versus theme are just hella good!!

Well he has no zoning techniques except for the slide kick which is easy to dodge, but I kinda get ya since that Katana move is unblockable and eats your HP like a flesh eating virus
