I like the CTEK chargers, and the little adapters so you don't need to use croc clips (which you showed in the unboxing). I have one on each car. The adapters come in a couple of flavours. I prefer the fused ones as if you think about it, if that + cable does wear through on something metal, many amps will flow and sadness may ensue...
What I did with mine is remove the mains plug and then join the mains cable to a long cable with a waterproof connector. That way I can leave it connected up even when outdoors - the charger itself I leave under the bonnet with the extended mains cable coming out past the wipers. So the bonnet is shut. Sorted.
The CTEK chargers are supposed to be waterproof, but my first died after a brief rain shower. Amazon were very decent about it and sent me a replacement at no charge.

I’ve never tried one of those battery charger/condtioners. I’m going to suggest to my neighbour to get one for her 1989 Astra that usually needs a jump pack to get it going, as she rarely uses it in the winter. Cheers

Love the use of the ST-TNG font. Enjoyed watching the tinkering still love watching an old Citroen rise as the suspension gets to level. My mate had a CX back in the early 90s at polytechnic in Sunderland but unfortunately that is no more as it was old and rusty then. 😢
