as a composer myself, i'd like to provide a tip that i think will benefit you greatly. this is a good song, but there is wayy too much compression it. I used to have a similar problem with putting high end on everything in my songs. compressing everything makes it sound oversaturated, if that makes sense.
whatever you used to mix it this way (maximus, parametric eq 2, soundgoodizer, ott, etc), i would suggest still doing somewhat, but in considerably more moderation.
try messing around with other methods of mixing that aren't just compressing everything. look up some tutorials, if you'd like.
