Just went on the Wonder from Brisbane, super fun there was not 1 second on the ship where I was bored! Also treated Concierge guests really nicely and gave us a special lunch at Tritons on the day we boarded the ship and a special lunch in the concierge lounge a day before debarkation. They also gifted all concierge guests on the Australian season a limited edition artwork which was wonderful. The concierge lounge was amazing to get away from busy areas and also has a private deck overlooking the adults pool. Our room also overlooked the Sydney Opera house, as Sydney was one of our ports of call before making our way back to Brisbane. Only downside was they ran out of Disney branded items like chocolates and had to resort to normal Australian brand chocolates when we clearly saw online cruises in Australia before us had disney themed chocolates. Also heard they didn’t restock in the shops on the earlier cruises, however on our cruise everything was restocked due to complaints online.
@@Dive-Bar-Casanova I haven't been on any other lines, but everything I read says the same. I've only been on the Magic, and booked Fantasy next summer, but there was a good prices on the HotHS on the Wonder so we booked one lol
I can’t wait for my 4th cruise on Disney Cruise Line to be on the Wonder. We just booked this and I am so excited! It’s a 9 night out of vancouver in july!!
Welp, I just got off the Disney Wonder today, and I must say, it was legitimately one of the most enjoyable vacations I’ve had in recent years. Me and my family are already planning on our next Disney Cruise, and the one we have our eye on is the Disney Treasure for next May. So I’ll keep an eye on your channel to learn more about the Disney Treasure as we learn more. Thank you again for giving me, and my family such good advice.
great timing of the video, I am in Melbourne Australia and have booked my Crusie for next year. Liked and subscribed. Thank you so much for the info :) 👍
GREAT! GREAT! Video ! Thank u I’m going in about 3 weeks and was hoping it would be fun cus I was I was comparing to the wish but this looks just as fun ! Thanks Disneeds
Thanks for the tips! Is the waterslide only for kids? Also for anyone with kids - looks like the “dine and play” program (25:10) has been discontinued.😢 (refer Disney website article dated 25 Jan 2023)
We’re gonna be going on this ship next year in May, so I wanted to check out something like this, and it’s looking pretty cool. Based on this, and what we’ve heard, I think we’ll probably have a good time.
Just got off the Fantasy. And we missed the Wonder wholeheartedly. I'm a classic ship fan 100%. I only hope DCL doesn't think bigger is better. Wonder is my favorite 😍 ship!
I hope they keep the Wonder for as long as they can. The next 4 ships are just a little larger than the Wish but still hoping they will do a smaller one again at some point.
@disneeds ... 1000% agree. Do you know that the Adventure (6,700) alone can hold all the passengers of the Fantasy (4,000) and Wonder (2,700) put together 🤯?! Oh NO thank you!
The info in this video is really helpful, but the video is really shaky and hard on the eyes. Maybe think about using a handheld gimbal to stabilize the camera or phone.
Dinner service has NOT returned to ANY of the DCL ships in Cabanas or Marceline Market, it's breakfast and lunch only for the foreseeable future. Dine & Play is NOT back. As far as I can tell I don't think it will either. Also, they do NOT feed kids ANY meals in the Oceaneer Club/Lab, but they are welcome to drink water (if your kiddo has a medical need for snacks, it's allowed, but only for medical needs). It's hit or miss on the Pirate Night buffet, regardless of cruise length. Ask your head server if that's an important thing for you to know about. Personally, I prefer to eat light on the Pirate dinner menu as it's not my favorite, then have plenty of room for the buffet after fireworks as it does offer food that's more to my liking. They do have the tiny pub buffet back now. It's limited hours, but again your head server should know when it'll be open. Even if you don't see something you like on the MDR menu, they will work with you. Look at the kid's menu as well. Some nights all I want is a bowl of soup or simple cesear or garden salad, a cheese plate, and a bowl of mixed fruit. No server has ever made me feel bad about that. They will also swap protein options, so if you like the idea of a seafood dish for example, but only eat chicken, they'll usually be able to make that happen, same goes if you want to replace it with tofu. If you enjoy Indian foods, there's always a curry on hand, even if it's not on the menu, but it's easiest if you discuss that in advance with your servers so they can make sure you get it without delay. A DCL sailing is a FANTASTIC way to introduce young people to flavors they've never been exposed to. Encourage them, and yourself, to order something new and do a "no thank you bite" where they try at least one bite and then they are welcome to say no thank you to any more of it. The food is already paid for regardless of if you personally eat it or not, everything has an expiration date, so it'll be thrown away eventually, so do try not to feel too much guilt over any food waste as you're on a luxury vacation anyway and it's bound to happen.
I just recently talked to customer service at DCL, and I was told that there is currently no food service offered for kids in the Oceaneer's Club or Lab.
I do! Tangled the Musical is one of the stage shows on the Disney Magic. On that night they have an early and late snuggly duckling takeover experience in O’Gills Pub.
Yay! It’s nice to hear they are useful. Thank you! I was thinking of your trip while making this. Did you guys have fun? I hope it was fabulous!! And yes please to footage, thanks for offering.
