Yes, these are the real backing vocals. I got them from the GagaDaily forums.
If you overlap the aforementioned vocals with the released stem ones you'll hear that yes, it is indeed her. You can also easily spot these vocals at the end of the chorus.
It might be hard to spot at first, but if you play close attention you'll hear them.
Lastly, there are no download links, sorry. I can't find the original GagaDaily post.

According to must surveys at the GagaDaily forum, Born This Way and The Fame Monster are the most favored albums and if we were to look at the most liked song from The Fame album, Paparazzi is not the first on the list.
I may be wrong but this is the impression I got while I had been active on said forum.
@@winter375 Kinda disagree.... About Paparazzi, that is. It's probably her most "materialistically popi" hit but it's my personal fave from the album. And a lot of fans favorite from her entire resume. But yeah BTW and TFM are so terrific that fact doesn't surprise me :)

Yes, it is real. You can also hear these vocals if you solo the lead vocals in a DAW. Especially at the end of the chorus.

She was around 20 years old during this recording and these vocals are on the lower spectrum.

@@winter375 to add, apparently this song’s backing vocals use the lead vocals but were harmonized using melodyne. That could probably explain why the vocals feel familiar but at the same time don’t sound like Gaga, if that detail is even true.

@@angelvega3348 Besides the lead vocal on the chorus there are four more layers.
Rob Fusari explained in a workshop once that the chorus has Gaga doubled twice on the chorus for a fuller effect (two different vocal takes), along with that there's a harmony sung (she sometimes sings this harmony in live shows as it isn't as demanding vocally as the lead) and underneath it all there is this layer of vocals. If you listen to the demo version from 2007 the arrangement of the vocals on the chorus is different. The harmony layer is barely audible but the rest of them are.
This song is performed by Gaga entirely. Perhaps the "yea-ah" isn't her but it isn't really a clear vocal so we cannot determine.
