The clickers being immune to pushing is so subtly dangerous man, cause it goes against everything our brains are trained to deal with zeds.

It's kind of ironic that you had this close call with that one infected a day before you actually died. You went to sleep and cheered that you didn't die, but you didn't know that the death was just around the corner.
I really liked this series, gave me a huge TLOU nostalgia feel and makes me want to play that again haha!

The grabby clickers are unfair and I'm planning on reworking the way Clickers attack in the new released version. In fact I even deactivate it by default in the new version

i feel your pain, its such a tuff mod, even with out crazy population. i found the distance between stations to be the biggest hurdle, even tried the skate board and bike mods so i could move a bit faster, but i never found a skateboard, and it wouldn't let me use any of the bikes i built. but it seems like every station has a lot of hidden area, if you can find the way into it. btw, if your not using the better electric mod, you need it, it lets you disassemble all the orange machinery for electric skill and a bunch of resources, like scrap metal, sheets, bars, wire and electronics. great series and looking forward to the next one.
I learned about the Aim Outline settings in PZ from a Lime video. And I remember that everytime he once again dies to whiffing a melee hit for not using it. Thanks for the lesson, pal! xD
Whiffing that swing with the hammer is precisely why I have the range indicator turned on for all weapons

That was a ... unsatisfying end to be honest. The kind where I'd personally reload a save out of spite. Not even an epic standoff, just a single zombie.
do a farmer challenge you start in a farming location and your main food source is your crops you could have the enginer mod for Turrets maybe do a wave every few nights to keep it interesting and your really good with shotguns it would also allow you to use more farming mods and some different power ones too

Little idea for a rehash of this Metro run:
GFL themed Metro reclamation operation.
Story Setting: Team of a Merc human with his T-Doll forces (Dolls in GFL are basically humanoid robots, from utilitarian designs used by Military to the Human looking ones used for Civilian work) are hired by some government to eliminate the ELID infected (Think of the TLoU Cordyceps zombies if their disease was spread by a specific radiation) that took the local Metro network after a Terrorist attack using a Dirty Bomb. Yadda yadda, something happens and you end isolated and stuck inside the metro system, the job is still up, and the only way out is find a specific area in the Metro that is exposed to the surface.
The Main Objective: Reach a specific Map area for extraction.
The "Optional" Objective: Wipe the Zed Population in the whole Metro.
You may pick to Play as Either the Commander, or one of the Dolls.
Commander:
Pros:
Can learn and use all the Skills;
Can use all firearms and Weapons;
Can Craft all possible recipes for all types.
Cons:
Starts with lower Combat related Skills;
Has the Succeptible Trait (ELID is infectious to humans, not Robots, Duh);
Starts with only a Pistol and some Basic Supplies;
Isn't a Smoker.
Doll
Pros:
Starts with 7-8 in Shooting and Reloading;
7-8 Strength and Fitness;
Starts with a Weapon of Choice (Brita's weapon pack highly recommended) and a modicum of Ammo and mags for it;
Immune to infection (If picking Doll, turn infection off altogether).
Cons:
Only Allowed ONE non-Combat related skill as usable;
The type of weapon you pick on start defines what firearm you are allowed to use (Dolls need a specialized FCS component to be able to use firearms, as an added limitation, said FCS only allows for a Specific firearm to be set for that specific Doll, for balance purposes, you are only stuck with the weapon class), They are: Handguns, SMGs, ARs, Snipers, Shotguns or MGs;
Combat Utility items permited are determined by Weapon Class. Handguns allow use of Suppressors on the gun, SMGs allow Grenades slash throwable Exposives, ARs allow Placed explosives (Landmines) or a RL, Snipers allow an Emergency Pistol, Shotguns allow a Pistol holster Shotty secondary, MGs allow using Sentries (Angry Turrets Mod). You are forbidden any other items.

Zomboid so so brutal. One screw up, the character that you've sunk days into is dead, and there's no save to revert to. I know its not in the game's spirit, but I really do wish it had an easy way to save your game every time you slept or something so you could just re-load if you died. I've had a few characters last into that second month and when they die after all the work to get to that point, I end up putting the game away for weeks because I'm dejected. I know there's ways to pick things up again, but it's just not the same.
My suggestion for a new series would be to base out of a fancy house in Louisville and have an objective to collect as much art as possible. Don't have as restrictive loot spawns so you can fairly easily have enough supplies to survive and focus on the art looting.

I mean tbf he was playing with a shit ton of mods, and the zombie he died to was a modded one. In vanilla he could've just pushed the zombie and been fine.
The normal game is janky as hell too but the setup Lime was playing was even moreso.

Damn, RIP. I was really enjoying this series - it was a nice change of pace from the usual challenges which usually end up with you just fucking off into the woods for three months to grind up skills. Honestly, that death looked really janky too. Are clickers not able to be pushed?
It would make sense if they couldn't. In TLOU game you can't really melee them very effectively and they can instagrab and kill you. Guess that carried over to this mod.

Clearing out that big station would've taken quite a while anyways for sure. It's definitely a cool map though, I'm glad we had a chance to experience some of it! This was such a great run/scenario. TBH, I would be willing to watch you try again if you can come up with a novel alternate approach. Obviously, firearms will play a big role, but what's the optimum start for a map and scenario like this?
