Either this is a very amusing coincidence (which I believe it is), or he deliberately saved in slot four immediately before the reveal of the series mascot.

Sometimes English will emphasize an unexpected portion of a word, but you don't have to worry about that in Japanese. I find that it helps to say each syllable slowly with the same emphasis. Take the name Sayaka for instance. When the Game Grumps played DR1, they pronounced her name "sii-YAH-kah" because they expected a nonexistent stressed syllable. But if you just sound it out slowly, you get "sii-yah-kah." Then repeat it a little faster and you'll have the right pronunciation. Similarly, "jo-TAR-oh" should simply be "jo-tar-oh," no emphasis. Don't stress any particular syllables and you won't have a problem.
