If the only inversion on that coaster is the vertical loop, I don't know why it has shoulder restraints. I feel safer with shoulder restraints than lap bars. Another name for shoulder restraints, common among coaster enthusiasts, is an OTSR.
Yeah’s it’s pretty silly. But keep in mind it was made in 2001 and only recently (in the past 10 years) there’s been a trend towards less shoulder restraints.
What a fantabulous roller coaster. Sets the standard for on-ride music, and high visual appeal. One of my favourite roller coasters. Not sure yet if the new theming will degrade it as badly as X2 degraded X. X2's on ride sound is garbage compared to this.
Though still well above the general standard for parks like Six Flags, I would expect a bit better landscaping and TLC from Disney (i.e. mult areas where paints looks faded/rusted and much of the coaster giving the feeling that it's taking place backstage).
That onboard audio is so nostalgic. I miss it so much!
Glamorous ride.
One of the best coasters ever

What happened to the water?
This is my "must-ride"coaster at Disneyland! I want to go on it this summer and film a POV of this!

Could I use this for credit?
Yes no problem

I was just there last week!
I rode this a few months ago (July 2014) from towards the back. It was a pretty fun experience. ;)
This is the best coaster to transition from little coasters to big coaster.
best ride at the Disneyland Resort
