My late father in law told me of a time in France when he saw a typhoon blow the turret off a tiger tank, ha said there were ball bearings running down the street.
i can bielive that, thats why after normandy all tanks stayed camoflaged and stayed in the hedgerows, because they new if they were spotted by a typhoon they were toast.
@@skidzholeshot1316 Well historically they were in danger but not toast. Post war assessments show that the accuracy of rocket strikes was under 17% success ratio. So dangerous for the tank, but not a death sentence when spotted by a single plane.

Your maneuvering could be much better if you use rudder. You like to climb and bank over to begin your runs, throw in rudder to bring your nose around. Happy hunting!!!
if your aircraft is not staying over the tanks they re-set and start from the tree line again mad i know,i was going to put a question mark on screen at this bit saying stealth mode lol
nice flying poor landing, need to flare - roll out smoothly & break smoother - overreacted with rudder as well! But it's not easy even if you know how 2 ;)
i9 have thrustmaster t1600 with throttle and paddle rudder donr have foot rudders yet, brit planes braking and using rudder at same time is difficult on this set up,ill get it one day, thanks.
@@skidzholeshot1316 ah yes same with Ussr Yak's but they are easy to land imo... I have got dedicated left/right break button & when breaking you need to use less rudder that's how i do it... ;)
@@romaniachin6751 YES I HAVE 2 DEDICATED BRAKE BUTTONS ALSO WITH THE RUDDER PADDLE ABOVE THEM ON THE THROTTLE QUADRANT,OOPS CAPS,ill give your idea a go,thanks,as /and i have all collector russian planes.
What brave women do you mean? There were no female combat pilots to my knowledge. Do you mean the women who ferried plans from factories to front line bases?
yes the ATA the women who ferried all kinds of aircraft ,many of them died ferrying Typhoons.and they certainly were brave, ferrying lancasters Typhoons etc ,without evr flying one before all they had was the flight manuel to look at and off they went.
how do you tactically avoid flack;? normally if i dont kill the aa on a train, then i expect to take hits,no matter how i evade, even grass cutting ,they are at eye lvl with you, only if there are lots of trees do we get away without a heavy damage, ive tried many ways, and ill keep trying.
do you mean its a hawker typhoon? or that their isnt a typhoon in game?, in battle of boddenplatte and the new map normandy is part of the il2 stumovik series.
Always a pleasure to see the Typhoon hard at work. The men who flew her deserve much praise for their guts and tenacity. Well done!!
Thanks for no commentary!

This looks like the Hawker Typhoon. Sure u got the right plane here?
this is the Hawker Typhoon???i get it you were on the drink last night lol
Have fun starting that awesome thing try the Tempest same plain with the Brit gay thing removed.
Once again a Brit aircraft with munitions from the USA. If I'm not mistaken those are sidewinders under it's wings.
these are ww2 british RP3 ungiuded 60lb warhead rockets, not modern sidewinders at $400.000 a time
You are in fact mistaken.
Coming back in with unused ammunition?
first trip next one ill take a squadron, and not forget ive still got rockets on .
