Lefteris Volanis & Dimitris Pagidas - Leaving London

''Leaving London'' is the 7th track taken from the album titled 'Outside the Long Walls'' released by Veego Records. It is a collaboration between Lefteris Volanis and Dimitris Pagidas, bandmates in No Clear Mind, that took place during the period of lockdowns in Greece.

Το ''Αφήνοντας το Λονδίνο'' είναι το 7ο κομμάτι από τον δίσκο 'Εκτός των Τειχών'' που κυκλοφορεί από την Veego Records. Ο δίσκος αυτός είναι προϊόν συνεργασίας του Λευτέρη Βολάνη και του Δημήτρη Παγίδα, μελών του μουσικού σχήματος No Clear Mind, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε τα τελευταία χρόνια στην Ελλάδα μέσα στην περίοδο των Lockdown.

Ο τίτλος του δίσκου αυτού συνοψίζει την ανάγκη να φτιάξουμε τραγούδια από επιρροές, σκέψεις και αισθήσεις, στοιχεία όχι αναγκαία πρωτότυπα, αλλά περισσότερο ξεχασμένα και αναξιοποίητα έως τώρα. Τραγούδια φτιαγμένα από ό, τι αναδύεται στα περιθώρια της καθημερινής αίσθησης, της μνήμης και της "υβριδικής" πραγματικότητας μας. Ήχοι που δεν εκφράζουν ούτε τη ζωή της πόλης ούτε αυτή της επαρχίας, παρά μονό παράπλευρες εικόνες και σκέψεις μιας διαδρομής εκτός των τειχών, εκεί που αισθανόμαστε ότι ανήκουμε. Κυκλοφορεί σε βινύλιο από την Veego Records.

The title of this record outlines the need to make songs out of influences, thoughts and sensations, elements not essentially original, but forgotten and underutilized. Songs made of everything that emerges from the margins of our everyday sense, our memory and "hybrid" reality. Sounds that express neither the life of the city nor that of the countryside; only side views and thoughts from a drive outside the long walls, where we feel we belong.
