I have a dr504, early 2000s. Still hand wired and fixable by myself. Wonder if this “pedalsmith” is just as fixable. My amp does sound like nothing else, goes also louder than anything else 😅
I guess that depends on if it just a PCB with 'old school' components then yep should be but if they have gone full surface mount tiny tech then much less so. I would hope (suspect) it is the former.
Have you seen the price point on the T series? Pretty competitive price point there. I literally just got the most affordable head they make, the HI-5 and it was just £279 new from Andertons. I know it’s not comparable to the high quality custom shop heads make in the U.K. but they do make something for everyone.
@@adamalexanderray - you're my gosh-danged hero for sharing that today. I've seen images of the Leeds head they make for around £140. Had no idea there were slightly pricier amps. If I could wrangle one with an effects loop and a direct out for under £500, I'd be happy as Larry.
Andy loving the vids!, so much fun, you made these techy stuff entertaining.
Thank you!!
I’ve got that little red one in the background. Love it!
You haven’t mentioned they are from Bonnie South Yorkshire like me
Who! I snorted my drink over my desk…. You owe me a new keyboard mister 😉

@@Colin4034 Thank you! Now I have found some more guitars I can't afford! Billy Corgan signature model too 😢
How dare you assume I was watching this on the toilet.
I mean you were right, but how dare you!

@@TheGuitarGeek slam dunk. almost spit out my coffee..haha
Dang it. Still out of my price range.
Shame, as the idea of it being a workhorse to use with pedals is really appealing.
