The real story of Ertugrul is as follows: Kayi tribe was a turkish nomad tribe. The bey of this tribe was Suleyman Shah (also called as Gunduz Alp). There were 4 sons of Suleyman Shah i.e Sungurtekin, Gundogdu, Ertugrul and Dundar. In the 12th century, afraid of the mongols, the tribe migrated to Anatolia and then Aleppo (Halab). Ayyubid Sultan Ghiyasuddin Al Aziz was the sultan of Aleppo. Firstly, he denied because of some traitors, but then, he allowed Suleyman Shah to live there. There was an underground castle of the Crusaders near the palace of the Sultan. This castle was biggest threat for the Muslims. Ertugrul sent his beloved alp, named Afsin Bey, as the spy to the border of Ayyubid Dynasty. He discovered the underground castle of the crusaders and told to Ertugrul. Ertugrul told this to his father. The tribe decided to conquer that castle. Soon, Ertugrul and his alps conquered that castle. Then the tribe migrated to the turkish city, Ahlat. After 2 years of the conquest, Suleyman Shah passed away when he was crossing a river. Before death, he appointed his beloved son, Ertugrul as the next bey of the tribe. After being bey, Ertugrul called a headquarters meeting (jirga) and announced about his migration to Sogut, the famous city of Anatolia, which was then a part of Byzantine Empire. Most of them accepted his decision instead of his elder brothers, Sungurtekin and Gundogdu and their friends. So they stayed in Ahlat, while Ertugrul took his remaining tribe including his mother Hayme Hatun, wife Halime Sultan and younger brother Dundar, and migrated to Sogut. He was on the way, when he saw two armies fighting against each other. (Remaining story is in the reply box) 👇
He saw that one army is winning and beating the other one badly. So, he ordered to his alps to help the army which is being defeated badly. So, he and his alps broke on the winning army and the winning army was defeated badly and the army which was lossing, won. The army which was helped by Ertugrul Bey was the army of the Seljuk Sultan Alauddin Keykubat. And the other one was mongol army of the Mongol King Ogedei Khan, whose commander was Noyan. Sultan Alauddin has been very impressed from Ertugrul and he made Ertugrul the Margrave of the state. Mongol commander Noyan tried to take revenge many times, but lost. So, after the death of Mongol King Ogedei Khan, his son Halaku Khan killed Noyan because of his failure. Ertugrul became the governor of Sogut. The brother of the Sultan, named Ameer Sadettin Kopek, killed Sultan and tried to become sultan, but the son of the late sultan, named Ghiyasuddin Kekhusru, became sultan. Sadettin also tried to kill Ertugrul, but lost. Another ameer killed Sadettin Kopek because of his betrayral. After his death, Ertugrul became the ameer. Halaku khan attacked and destroyed the city of Baghdad. Then he attacked Konya, which was the headquarter of Seljuk Empire, and killed Sultan Ghiyasuddin. Hence, the Seljuk Empire collapsed. In 1280, because of illness, Ertugrul passed away. After his death, his younger brother Dundar betrayed from the tribe and collaborated with crusaders. So, the son of Ertugrul, Osman Ghazi, who was then the bey of the tribe, killed his traitor uncle. In 1282, Osman Ghazi found the Ottoman Dynasty and this nomad tribe ruled three continents for 600 years. This is the real story of Ertugrul. And also there was only one wife of Ertugrul named Halime Sultan, who was the niece of Sultan Alauddin Keykubat. There were three sons of Ertugrul, named Gunduz, Savci and Osman. His son Osman was the founder of the Ottoman Dynasty. And his spiritual teacher was Ibn Arabi (R.a).

The real story of Ertugrul is as follows:
Kayi tribe was a turkish nomad tribe. The bey of this tribe was Suleyman Shah (also called as Gunduz Alp). There were 4 sons of Suleyman Shah i.e Sungurtekin, Gundogdu, Ertugrul and Dundar. In the 12th century, afraid of the mongols, the tribe migrated to Anatolia and then Aleppo (Halab). Ayyubid Sultan Ghiyasuddin Al Aziz was the sultan of Aleppo. Firstly, he denied because of some traitors, but then, he allowed Suleyman Shah to live there. There was an underground castle of the Crusaders near the palace of the Sultan. This castle was biggest threat for the Muslims. Ertugrul sent his beloved alp, named Afsin Bey, as the spy to the border of Ayyubid Dynasty. He discovered the underground castle of the crusaders and told to Ertugrul. Ertugrul told this to his father. The tribe decided to conquer that castle. Soon, Ertugrul and his alps conquered that castle. Then the tribe migrated to the turkish city, Ahlat. After 2 years of the conquest, Suleyman Shah passed away when he was crossing a river. Before death, he appointed his beloved son, Ertugrul as the next bey of the tribe. After being bey, Ertugrul called a headquarters meeting (jirga) and announced about his migration to Sogut, the famous city of Anatolia, which was then a part of Byzantine Empire. Most of them accepted his decision instead of his elder brothers, Sungurtekin and Gundogdu and their friends. So they stayed in Ahlat, while Ertugrul took his remaining tribe including his mother Hayme Hatun, wife Halime Sultan and younger brother Dundar, and migrated to Sogut. He was on the way, when he saw two armies fighting against each other.

He saw that one army is winning and beating the other one badly. So, he ordered to his alps to help the army which is being defeated badly. So, he and his alps broke on the winning army and the winning army was defeated badly and the army which was lossing, won. The army which was helped by Ertugrul Bey was the army of the Seljuk Sultan Alauddin Keykubat. And the other one was mongol army of the Mongol King Ogedei Khan, whose commander was Noyan. Sultan Alauddin has been very impressed from Ertugrul and he made Ertugrul the Margrave of the state. Mongol commander Noyan tried to take revenge many times, but lost. So, after the death of Mongol King Ogedei Khan, his son Halaku Khan killed Noyan because of his failure. Ertugrul became the governor of Sogut. The brother of the Sultan, named Ameer Sadettin Kopek, killed Sultan and tried to become sultan, but the son of the late sultan, named Ghiyasuddin Kekhusru, became sultan. Sadettin also tried to kill Ertugrul, but lost. Another ameer killed Sadettin Kopek because of his betrayral. After his death, Ertugrul became the ameer. Halaku khan attacked and destroyed the city of Baghdad. Then he attacked Konya, which was the headquarter of Seljuk Empire, and killed Sultan Ghiyasuddin. Hence, the Seljuk Empire collapsed. In 1280, because of illness, Ertugrul passed away. After his death, his younger brother Dundar betrayed from the tribe and collaborated with crusaders. So, the son of Ertugrul, Osman Ghazi, who was then the bey of the tribe, killed his traitor uncle. In 1282, Osman Ghazi found the Ottoman Dynasty
and this nomad tribe ruled three continents for 600 years.
This is the real story of Ertugrul.
And also there was only one wife of Ertugrul named Halime Sultan, who was the niece of Sultan Alauddin Keykubat. There were three sons of Ertugrul, named Gunduz, Savci and Osman. His son Osman was the founder of the Ottoman Dynasty. And his spiritual teacher was Ibn Arabi (R.a).
