@@michaelschemmel1984My dad just gave me one he doesn’t use. I used the cups he gave me, but they’re kind of expensive & I went through them pretty quick. I started using the provided cup & regular coffee, which makes me feel like I’m not flushing money away. Also, since it takes a bit longer to prepare, I’m less likely to make a cup of coffee that I don’t really want.

I feel totally fine with it. I'm going to die eventually and I'm not spending more or doing more work to delay the inevitable. The human body is amazingly resilient so if yore taking care of yourself some chemicals from a plastic cup wont make a bit of difference. So what do you do? You put the K-Cup in, drink your coffee and move on with your day. First world problems at its finest. Start my day worrying about my coffee? No thanks.

Have you disassembled any of coffee machines, they literally use plastic pipes, I mean all coffee machines, besides if you think about it, there are millions other plastic that we uses in day to day with literally no choice, so what is your thoughts about that!?

I quit using pods a year ago. Not only is it better for the environment to get away from filling land fills with plastic waste but I get way better coffee with fresh ground beans. I use the mesh k cup that came with the kuerig but am going to check out the stainless ones.

Why stop there. The machine is made out of plastic and rubber or plastic tubing. If you don’t thoroughly clean after every use, you could pick up pathogens, molds bacteria in and on the top of the machine. Your best bet is just stay in bed. It’s safer there.

We use the larger nespresso pods, which taste much better, are at least recyclable, and fully aluminum. That aluminum is much thicker (at least to my eyes) than K-cup pods. That’s gotta help, right!?

All I have to say is that this man better last over 100 years. Living his life with OCD and spreading it like love has become a norm for him. I would rather be happy and worry free than to live my life worrying about every little thing.
I get that we have to eat healthy, but damn! This guy takes things to a whole new level, a level of being afraid to get sick or even die. Don't be afraid to die. You'll live a happier life.

Yeah. I appreciate he’s trying to educate, but damn… it seems vast majority of foods & drinks have a problem. And I’ll bet the protein powders he sells aren’t cheap either. Plus I’m across the pond in the UK anyway. I don’t think anything is bad, provided it is consumed occasionally or in moderation. I get clean eating, but even that can be an issue if that’s all you eat. There was a poor girl who died recently just eating fruit. I feel like you can’t win. I have no desire to get to 100 the state the world is in anyway. I’d rather die having enjoyed my life with the occasional ice cream.

Aluminum is perfectly fine. Plastic is iffy but likely not harsh. Not as bad as a billion other things we do to our bodies daily, including being on social media.

I was having extensive blood work done two years ago and K-Cups were the exact reason why my estrogen levels were extremely high with dirty estrogen. High levels of dirty estrogen can lead to breast cancer ovarian cancer and other nasty things nobody wants so think about the cosmetics you're using and putting on your skin every day and all the other plastic chemical concoctions. Might be part of the reason why we have women going into menopause and they're very early 30s. Hormone disruptors are no ones friend.

Much more economical and better tasting grinding your own beans and using the accessory basket for the keurig coffee makers
