Yes I think it's pretty nice for a full option car. On a trackday I broke my connectingrod bearing on de first cilinder, so I had to rebuild the hole thing. It now has Carrillo pistons and K1 technologie rods. I am thinking about the Milltek exhaust and an 15 pully on the supercharger. But fuel consumption is not that great for a daily driver.
@@Zatochi0000000000000 I know a little about an R53, I spent far too much on my chilli pack 2006 with 1320mini including a conversion with a big turbo that put out 300whp at 14 psi, the boost was turned down because of stock internals but it was capable of so much more! Look up 1320 minis r50 called old red that does a 1/4 mile in a fraction over 10 seconds....
Oo that supercharger yes indeed. Wish more cars had them. Yaris GRMN is supercharged but sadly far too rare. No idea why Mini decided to ditch it in favour of the turbo. Any ideas id be interested to know. Cheers
Simon George I believe it’s a combination of emissions and performance. As much as the response of a supercharger is linear and it definitely sounds great, fuel economy suffers due to it generating additional load on the engine at any engine speed. On the highway, you’re spinning the supercharger for no reason really. A turbocharged engine also produces more torque, and has overall better fuel economy, as well as producing more power. It’s a win in all categories, except throttle response and sound.
you shift at 5,2rpm and dont go under 4k rpm to get the max power and quick accel with these little coopers s .you dont go in the red line and shift lol max torque is at 4k rpm and they have a boost setup to get you 10 torq hp more if you shift them right like i told you shift at 5200 rpm and dont let it go done 4000 rpm to the next gear then you get the max torque and best of it
Ob Sazinskiphamsouk try that 4th gear pull in a civic type R! anything other than the new turbocharged version and you'll have to wait for a very long time before the V-Tec kicks in y'all! 😂😂😂
Justin Lankester I actually think the civic si's from 2006-11 are pretty quick little cars. They sound really good with the STOCK exhaust. No fart can crap. You should check it out.

7.2 is good but with a few minor mods (3500$) sub 6 seconds is very easily achievable! XD lol go get a life

I tasted mine frome 100 , till 150. Same as yours, seems in good shape for a 203.000kms. Fun car

I have R52 Cooper S too but not fast as it may be my car has leak in boost
there are 2 types 163hp and 170hp. This is the 170hp but I don't think it's that big of a difference. may leak boost..
