stop everything to watch
orchestration of sunlight and clouds
ballet of leaves and branches in wind
listen to yourself sing in the shower
from deep in your lungs
water turned low
eyes closed
until you are empty and full
watch children at play
as they climb trees
strut around in costume
chalk pavement
ride their bikes with exuberance
talk with an old friend for an hour
to catch up
report highs and lows
remember years back
