There are 2 moments with weird sound now. Unfortunately i had to suppress the music because of copyright shenanigans. It's NOT the fault of your speaker or headset ;)
Excellen series.I was an instant subscriber when I saw ep 01. Please keep these coming. And start thinking about your next vanilla series! There's never enough vanilla Factorio!
Love it, you found the perfect mix of progression, narration and music. I really like your video editing style, it clearly shows that you put a lot of effort into it! Very enjoyable series, can't wait to see more of it :)
Glad you enjoyed it! You can't get it right for everyone when it comes to the ratio / amount of narration. But since i'm talking nonstop in my guides i wanted to tone down the amount of narration in this playthrough.
Great job on the editing, it's easy to follow for someone who knows the game well. It's pleasantly fast, condensing hours of footage into easy to comprehend clips. It is probably too fast for people that lack game knowledge though, but then again those people might be more interested in the shorts explainers you made in order to learn more from that than to watch a hardcore challenge like this one. Keep up the quality content, regarding underrated factorio weapons what do you think of using the drones for combat? I quite like them? Just 10 of them will deal enough damage to wipe away most nests. When you have a world devoid of obstacles they will be even better imo
Tbh i've never used drones but i'm sure they will do the job just fine. Maybe thats an idea for a future playthrough. Offensive attacks on biters only allowed by drones. No handheld weapons, personal lasers etc
I really like your efforts to edit the videos so they are dense in information / relevant moments. Given the settings, I would be interested (even if it's text data) to see what you chose to research (you see to be very focused on certain techs). Highly informative series in any case.
6:10 This also brings the polution from your smelting a lot closer to the biters. And focuses more of the attacks on your outposts... Just so you can have half as many trains on the rails going to and from your outposts? Which are never gonna be at capacity anyways? For a deathworld run, that seems a bit backwards.
At this point i already have lasers so it's all good. I don't really care if they attack there or at the main base. The amount of pollution created is also heavily reduced by efficiency modules.
I started in early 2021. But i've played and heavily grinded other games like Lost Ark and Path of Exile since then. Hours? I don't know because i don't play on steam. I guesstimate that i've played 10 different freeplays to rocket launch.
Agree. That's why i use flamethrowers in the early game. Later on it's annoying to expand the base with flamethrowers though because you have to setup a huge pipe system and bring oil. Expanding with lasers is just so much more convenient. But if you want to use them by all means do it.

Thanks. Don't worry i'm a vanilla enjoyer and that won't change in the foreseeable future.
This guy is so underated

Always so nice to see new content creators popping up and playing your favorite games
And it just keeps getting better 👏
Thanks. I'm glad that you like this episode as well.
great video, can't wait to see the next episodes
Thanks for the video!
Will wait next episode)
Perfect pacing, perfect level of commentary. You deserve to get a lot of subs if you can make content like this,
Came for the factorio content, stayed for the the Secret of Mana music.

Bro no one can stop
Can’t wait for the next one! You inspired me to start up the same playthrough along with you right now
2:15 Democracy is so beautiful

Never realised how effective those lasers can be in offense due to being instantly online, no fumbling with ammo. x'D
Very good video, i learn a lot with this
Glad it was helpful!
this isnt fair man, make longer videos :(
I see you like to do the meridian dance while poisoning the biter nests
Sure thing. SoM OST is a classic.
Great content, thanks! I wonder how many hours you have on the game? and how many play throughs you've done before.

👍🍔
wow ive never used poison before
i wanna try it now
Fire turrets are super cost effective. One 0.1 sec oil pump is enough to supply all turrets. Does it make sense to change them to lasers?
