Hi Gordon trust you well. I was going to do a few Sinatra covers but I got chronic Arthritis in the shoulder so my space has been chronic depression bit I belive that if you say this is not my material or my music if you do a covet there is realy nothing illegal about it recording to the governing bodies in our country as long as you not selling it there is no leavel issue our governing bodies 9f music are samrol and sorol

Well,that’s just be incorrect. Recording a cover is allowed under only certain circumstances, but distributing, performing, and making derivative works still require different permissions. It’s not whether you’re “selling”, you can be liable (or get a takedown) even if you’re giving it away for free…
you can use any material you want until someone complains.
Sometimes, that complaint is a copyright strike… and too many of those can get your channel deleted…. Sometimes that complaint has a $150,000 price tag.
And, it’s always good to actually follow the law, and respect other peoples’ property…
