Hi Folks. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your video. We actually live in Alexandria Bay but have never checked Swan Bay out. Your video was well done and very comprehensive. Yes, this RV resort is right off Rt 81 North on Rt 12 east. It is about 4 miles west of Alexandria Bay, NY. Now that the pandemic has past, this resort is very popular. I recommend you get your reservations as far in advance as you can. Thanks for the great review.
Awesome review, We haven't been to Swan Bay RV resort in 4 or 5 years, I know they where building up back then and it's nice to see how well everything has become. It was a beautiful campground then and appears to be a lot better. Thanks for sharing. BTW, Save me some of those chops....
As a local… we call it the St. Lawrence River, or just “The River”, never the Seaway. Take a boat tour from Uncle Sam’s in Alex Bay with a stop at Boldt Castle. Thank you for the a great video
Thought you had joined Thousand Trails until I realized it was Thousand Islands. Haha. Looks like a pretty nice resort. Nice tour. The houseboat and wood boat museum looks cool.
Cape Vincent is a great little village to explore in the Thousand Islands. Lighthouse at Tibbets Point too! At the mouth of the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario.
Harley like the site too. Glad to learn about this rv park. I've been wanting to visit the Thousand Islands for a while, just wish we could visit in the fall. Unfortunately, work gets in the way. We have rules that we must fulfill before we add the state sticker as well. That store had it all. Love their greeter lol. Will keep this resort on our radio for when we visit Thousand Islands. 👍
This place is great. Really good small mouth bass fishing in this area. You will love it here. Thete is also a state park campground o. Wellsely Island. Thanks for watching.
Oh, we want to go to the thousand lakes regions so badly! We don't live that far and we have wanted to visit there for years. Not a bad campground, prefer wooded but looks great. The rest of your trip was great too! Oh, almost forgot to mention that I love the sticker chart travel map! - Kathie
@@BikesBoatsBivouacs I'm sorry to hear this! I lost my Golden 2 years ago. She was about 13 as well. We got her from a rescue when she was about a year old. Best dog I ever had!
That was a great resort. I really liked how close the full service grocery store was and that you could get there on the golf cart. Those sites were spacious too. Great review guys.
Yea, more stickers for your map! Lots looks spacious and the campground looks very well kept. Was that rock placed in the drive to keep carts from cutting up through there to the store? I thought at first it had just fallen there. The wood boat museum looked interesting. Great video and review, Scott. Good to see Marie and Talon and Tim and your friends.
Thanks for posting this video. I enjoyed it because you were very informative. I’m thinking about trying to book this park this week. What state are you from? We are from New Jersey.

I heard about Cape Vincent from a waitress at the micro brew in Clayton. Will definately explore that area on our next trip. Thanks for watching.

You will love this area. I know about that work thing. I see retirement in the future which will free up more time to travel. Thanks for watching.

I too prefer wooded sites, but it was worth it at this place. Thanks for watching.
Try Wellesley Island or Kewaden State parks for wooded sites
Hi Scott, what a great place so beautiful awesome time.
This place was really nice. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching

Sadly, she passed away 6 weeks ago. She made it to 13 1/2. Thanks for watching

It is a really nice resort that we will return in the future. Thanks for watching.
Do you think the grocery store is over priced for the convince?
And next to the Price Chopper grocery store is a great liquor and wine shop, UPS store and, not that you would need it, a paint store.
I'm thinking about heading back up that way next summer. I'll keep these places in mind.
