Training compensation is due when a) a player is REGISTERED for the first time as a professional( NOT WHEN THE PLAYER SINGS HIS FIRST PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT). b) a professional is transferred between clubs of two different associations (whether during or at the end of his contract).
Please, additionally, why did you use 10000 when earlier you mentioned that the from the ages 12 to 15 the FIFA rule stated that the compensation should be done at the rate of a category 4 club?
Guys, I guess something wrong in this calculation. B - 12~14 : 2 year ( 2 x 10,000 = 20,000) T - 14~15 : 1 year( 1 x 10,000 = 10,000) 15~19 : 4 year( 4 x 60,000 = 240,000) *12~15 needs to be calculated with Category 4. So, total needs to be 270,000.
Hi, we have attached a link to the blog below which talks you through the calculations. You will see that there are 2 years between 14-15 calculated as cat 4. The total years must equal 8. Therefore 2 x 10,000 = 20,000 between 14-15. erkutsogut.com/blog/2023/03/13/explained-understanding-and-applying-fifa-training-compensation-the-solidarity-mechanism/
@@mariadelosangelessanchez2183 because you have to calculate from the perspective of the new club - in that case TipTopTown UEFA Cat. 2 (after his 15th birthday)! What helped me to understand from which perspective I have to calculate is: The compensation will be paid from the new club to the former clubs. Therefore the relevant category & association for the calculation is the ones from the new club. Because the idea behind is "What would the new club have paid for the training if the player had been trained in this association."
Sogut, please can you kindly explain why the player played for Brasilia City from 1/7/13 to 31/12/2018, but his contract with Istanbul United also started from 1/1/2018 to 31/12/23. Please, why is it so and is that accurate?
Is training compensation been paid to all the clubs that trained a player until the calendar year of 23rd birthday or just for the first signing as a professional? If it's on every transfer then what is the difference with solidarity mechanism . Please I need explaining
Hello! Thank for great video! If player move from 4 category club to 4 category club in AFC? Is it free transfer or club must pay training compensation?
Hi! I was doing some exam session, and this question came up: «What is the training compensation to be paid by a first category Spanish club to a third category club in the Czech Republic when registering a player as a professional player after a total of two years, from the age of 16 to 18, with the club in the Czech Republic?» The correct answer given was 120.000 EUR. But how is that? Is it not 180.000? Appreciate if you can answer this questions
It’s because when transfer from lower caregory to higher category occurs, the average is calculated. Hence, (90+30)/2 equals 60k per year. Two years = 60*2=120k.
@@hjerteroaktiviteter3386 no, always the average between the two categories regardless of years if the new club is if higher category within UEFA. So add the compensation for the lower with the higher and always divide by 2
Hello everyone ! If the player then leaves the club halfway through the season ( January ) do we count only half a year or integrality of the year please ? Same for Solidarity payments ? And regarding this specific case why do we count CAT 4 UEFA and not CAT 4CONMEBOL as he was those years in Brazil ? Thanks so much
Only a half year. The important thing is the time that the player stayed in the club. In another hand, the category to calculate, is the category of the new club. So, if a club from Spain sign first contract, you have to see the category of the spanian club, and not the category of the claimant.
The Turkish clubs are category II,III and IV. It's depend the case of every club. For example Gaziantep FK is category II because the club plays the Superleague.
Please be aware the dates at Brasilia City should be until the 31st December 2017, rather than 2018 as on screen. Thank you for your understanding.
Great video! Very educational. As I get ready to take the exam, I hope you continue to post short form content to help others! These are invaluable.

Is there a mistake in 2018 ? It should be : in Brasilila until 31.12.2017 not 2018 right ?

TC is not due if a player is moving to cat IV clubs

Calculated pro rata so yes
The final calculation is very confusing. Whilst Turkey is inside UEFA, it is not part of EU / EEA.
I don't understand why the category costs of UEFA are applied to Brazilia City when in fact the club actually belongs to CONMEBOL.
Because the player is moving to a Club in UEFA.
Costs are calculated based on the Club you move to, not the club that you have been developed at.
Dear Friends, where can I check what category the clubs belong to?
in the Fifa study materials for agents
Aren’t Turkey and England in EEA?
No, both are not members of the EAA
@@DrErkutSogut Thank you, this is very useful to know. There was a question involving this in the last exam for FIFA agents.
turkey team is category 3 or 4 by the way?

why should pay only 10k year to the Turkish team once the turkey league is under UEFA and not under AFC?
because as a general rule , TC is calculated at CAT IV clubs if the player is between the ages of 12-15th birthday
I still don't understand training compensation ..
