I love how Lloyd ended up beating Garmadon with the silent fist that Garmadon had taught Lloyd when he was good. Almost foreshadowing the importance of their relationship.
Man I wish people outside of the Ninjago fandom acknowledged the soundtrack of this show. I understand why people refuse to watch this show because, well, it’s Lego, but I want them to at least listen to what this show’s music has to offer. It’s phenomenal. A lot of people say Ninjago is just a dumb kids’ show, but man, they really need to listen to the soundtrack of it.
Actually the entire oni trilogy is a Masterpeace I have mixed feeling for sons of garmadon but I really do like hunted it was just amazing And I really liked March Of The Oni it was just EPIC the finale of the oni trilogy and the finale of the orginal series(You know the masters of spinjitzu series until it followed by the 2019 series)

I literally JUST watched this episode with my little sister. The expressions she had on her face were a treat to watch. She was so invested in it, and when it seemed like Lloyd was going to lose, she grabbed my arm and started biting her nails with the most intensely worried expression I've ever seen. I can't exactly blame her; It always makes me feel the same way. Thank you SO much for uploading this.
s8/s9 had SUCH GOOD SOUNDTRACKS. it's part of what makes this show so great- the music is so epic and emotional. and i love how this soundtrack calls back to a bunch of the themes/motifs that have been in the ost since the beginning of the show, but finds a way to reinvent their sound. genius!
«This isn't what your father wanted Ninjago to be! He left his world to make a better place. He fought for restore the balance!» «Ninjago isn't built on balance! It built on power! And controls by he who possesses it!» «No matter what you've done. Or what you've become. I have to believe this isn't you! You can change!» «Youthful ignorance! People don't change. They only reveal who they truly are!» «Wrong!» «Get up and fight me. Get up! Fight me!» «No. It's the fight what fuels you. I cannot fight you. But I can resist you»
The music is phenomenal, especially for a kids show. I really like the returning parts of music, theyre really reedming but sometimes really sad as well, especially if you see the special meaning behind it/ take the backstory in consideration. 3:08 is a good example of this. This has been used in at least the following important moments - Oiriginal Evil Garmadon saves Lloyd from death in the fire temple (Evil Garmadon show his good by saving and loving Lloyd, a love that even the pure evil inside him couldnt destroy) - Resurrected Garmadon battles Lloyd and Wu on top of Borg Industries (Resurrected Garmadon shows that he no longer is the old Garmadon his family loved but a shadow of his formerself by attacking and nearly killing Lloyd) - Resurrected Garmadon helps saving the day wuth the Tornado of Creation (Resurrected Garmadon shows some good is still left in him and he still kindof cares about Lloyd) This is a great way to show the redemption even Reborn Garmadon made. Another is the tune that plays when Garmadon leaves at the end of march of the oni. That tune has been used in at least the following important moments: - Garmadon is cleansed of his evil after the final battle and finally reunites with his family (He can finally be with his family and really live life the fullest now that he is finally free from the venom) - Garmadon tells Lloyd that if he dies with the cursed realm is Lloyd destroys it, then so be it. (He really so selfless since 1 he sent himself to eternal punishment in the cursed realm so his family and friends could survive and 2 he'd die for them if thats whats needed, thats how much he cares about them) - Resurrected Garmadon leaves his family behind (Something that even the Great Devourer could take away, the love for his family, is now gone because of the resurrection.) This is really sad, because this shows how one of Garmadon's core good elements to of original personality was destroyed against his own will (by being resurrected). These are some really emotional moments and the music just make them so much more impactfull.
@@changingpast5370Yup, pretty sure it was one of the other fragments mentioned (its been a year since I commented this so I dont know exactly anymore) so I found that pretty fitting.
What makes this scene so much better is that Lloyd uses the art of the silent fist to defeat his father, which was a move taught by his father in season 3.
