Yeah I think yak is pretty solid. Can also just take silkmoth to refill the health every turn.

One question: If one turn I have 1 life on the yak, and then I use the cupcake on it, will it deal 1 damage to itself, but the next turn it will be dead? Or will it have 1 life every time I use the cupcake, leaving it alive?

Have not tested it but based on this, i think it should stay alive
