If you are smoking inside your home where other pets or humans live, please stop. My parents smoked inside and we were always teased at school. I’ll never forget how mean the kids were. We smelled terrible but I would have loved for one person to be kind enough to play with me anyway. We were always coughing and had asthma. Smoke outside if you need to.
Well, now that the girl is about 19, and hopefully in college, or at least an adult, she doesn't have to sleep with her brothers---who really should all be out of the house themselves now. This show is from around 2009...Kim Woodburn hasn't done any shows of this kind (if any at all) since this one ended that year.
If you have to smoke, then at least do it outside; When children grow up in a smoke environment it's more likely that they will also start smoking. It smells foul, it's expensive and it's an unhealthy pastime.
Sorting out the daughter‘s room would take about 20 Minutes for the parents. There is absolutely no excuse for cramming up her room and denying her a place to sleep and retreat in. This is just laziness. I‘m not even going to start commenting on the smoking habit of those two.
Well you basically did comment on the smoking,, 😉 but honestly this was the most disturbing part. I’m a smoker and I would NEVER smoke in my house, even before I had kids….. super gross but subjecting this habit on children is just not acceptable. While it was once totally normal (my mom said that moms who’d just delivered a baby could smoke in their hospital room!! 😢 but we know better now….
I find myself hiding "stuff" in corners and out of sight. Never know when you might need things again. I think maybe it's because I grew up not having much and don't want to have to buy things again.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that as long as it’s organised enough to make sure it doesn’t make you or your home unsafe and fog your mental health 💙
If you haven't used something or worn it in a year, be honest, you're not going to. I don't have the room to store heaps of stuff so found that rule great. Also, charities or women's refuges are really grateful for donated stuff so it can help others ( that helps you feel better re letting go of 'stuff')😁
@@AlienTurkey7 No, not struggling like my family did when I was young, but I feel we should reuse as much as we can, which in turns saving money which is a good thing. Just don't let stuff bury you. There is too much use, throw away, rebuy, use, throw away, buy again.... repeating over and over
This is how all those clean with my videos came around…. Talk about motivation. I just dropped everything and started to panic clean can’t let my place ever get to that with 3 kids 😱😱😱
OMG I AM 10 AND I SLEEP IN MY PARENTS ROOM AND I DONT EVEN HAVE MY OWN BED THIS 7YO IS LUCKY.....THEY SAY 7YO IS TO OLD TO SHARE ROOM WITH PARENTS LOOK AT ME...
I don't like people who are proud with their clean house in front of you, and when I open a furniture, closet, it s messy... In fact they don't know to organize, they just clean, I knew a lot of people like that... If it was really a smoker home, many things turned on dirty yellow... I have a friend, he had to buy new curtains! And put a new paperwall...no choice! Clean tidy and organize yes
My mother smoked inside, the walls and curtains were yellow in every room, I swore to myself I would never smoke and ended up smoking, thank goodness I gave up around 12 years ago
oml xD these kids are so cute and funny, died at the sergeant calling them 'maggot' edit: i was not ready for mom's early 2000's chunky highlights lol but what a cute family and the husband adores his wife.
I don't like that man calling them 'maggots'. I think using insults is wrong, and also insects can not help that they are insects since they were created that way so I think it's unkind to use animals and insects to insult people, like when people use the word pig or dog to put people down. Animals and insects go through enough suffering and abuse by humans without having their animal/insect name used to degrade others. Also, l think it's funny when that child sweeps the debris on that man's face. It doesn't make sense that the man puts his face near the debris and broom.
It's really strange to see people who are presenters of similar British programmes involved in American versions. They often seem as though they are in a circus. A bit over the top for me, and hoarding issues are usually much more intractable than this.
🗣Shelby!! 👑 I'd love to send you my daughters Princess light!! It's in brand new condition.. shes never turned it on... ! Lmk♡♡.we have lots of goodies in OUR closet that my teens have out grown, never used..etc♡♡
We Asians kids do everything around the house…we get nothing but if we don’t then. We get belts, slippers and all the kitchen. Tools thrown at us ……. No regrets….love our parents
I don't like that male host. Something about him just creeps me out. I know this show is old---production of it ended in 2009---so the girl is now about 19 or 20; but this is one of the most disturbing episodes of "Rude Awakening" I've ever seen.
Hoards , when they grow to stage 4 to 5 levels, are incredibly dangerous. They are a threat to health and safety on to the people in the house and nearby. Can be public health threats, such as spreading diseases via vermin to being a potential fire hazard.
If it gets out of hand, it can damage relationships; Hoarders can be extremely self centred, and if the hoarding gets out of control and makes it difficult to get around the home causing accidents it becomes a health hazard.
The money the parents spend on filthy smoking could hire a full time maid.
Not really.. Maybe a maid once a week though
Good idea!!!!!
The way Kim eyeballs the Sargent!!! I’m dying🤣😭🤣 she’s ace!
🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅😅
I didn't notice that until after I read your comment. Oh my. That is a bit humorous. Her expression was well, oh, I do not know how to describe it.

I think that's common knowledge.. that pretty much everyone knows .
@@originalunoriginal4055 yet they still do it for some reason
It's true. My mom smoked in the house. I smoked from 10 to 28 years. And I did end up quitting. I almost thought I never would. Happy I did.

Great to find this Gem with Kim Woodburn! My new fave show 😂
You do know it's quite old, right? She hasn't made any shows of this sort since 2009.
I love how mike looks out for Kim going up and down the stairs....
He seems to genuinely care that she doesn't fall or get hurt❤
This mom and dad is putting all her family members health at risk...how can you smoke inside the house with children...
My rule is donate items you're no longer using. If you buy something new, then get rid of another item. Best way to keep things under control.
Smoke outside!
And i love all of this shows with Kim and Mike.
Also most of these family need to bone up on there personal hygiene as well!

I can't do this as a single lady
This is so motivating
19:05 see Dad's still smokin indoors
Haircuts and super nanny...and quit smoking in the house
The children don't respect their parents. There are no consequences for not listning.
Can you blame them though?
Omg they smoke inside THE KIDSSS!!!!
I think it's a lovely family and cute adorable kids but i really hope they stick to cleanliness now and stop smoking. God bless this home and family
How havs they not killed the bird smoking?
Haircuts, diets & behaviour guidance needed.
Mom is at home , doesnt seem depressed or anything but they still live in chaos. I feel they'll slowly revert back once she leaves .
I need these people to come to my house!
15:22 totally not creepy the person looking out the window 😅
Great story!!!!
14:51 Kim's face 😂🤣
Hope it stays that way a new broom sweeps clean they say.

the hotdog dinner and smoking indoors is child neglect.
Now all they need is Supernanny
Do they really think that anything they have taught this family is worth it.
Am I the only person who sees that the dad looks like stone cold Steve Austin?
Im not feeling well, but this helps.
Time to bring in Super Nanny
I can smell this house 🤢.

I couldn't stand it..i hate clutter..i would of called the junk man and emptied out that whole house in one day,,,out in the trash take it all away
I love this family
why? they're bad parents and poorly raised kids
They threw out a bed, when the little girl Charity has no bed and has to sleep with the brothers ????
Her name is Shelby and she has a bed. It's just buried under junk.
i smoke but never inside

Seems like just tossing the curtains in the washing machine would be easier
The curtains will shrink.
