I am an admirer of Kraftwerk and its music. I admit that it took me a long time to understand his peculiar sense of humor, but today with the news of Florian's departure, I was able to get to know his activist side for an important cause. My admiration grows. RIP in peace Florian.

I’ve listened to Kraftwerk since I was 11 and I’ve always had the impression that Florian Schneider actually was like a robot. You can’t find any footage of him where he acts humanly. Now I certainly can tell that he’s a real human, just look at his eyes, he seems very humble. I’m actually surprised. Thanks for sharing

I guess that more than half of the people there ,have no idea who this man is and mean to music. And glad that he speaks about today's nightmare ,the plastic trash that's everywhere

How wonderful to hear this lovely, modest man speak. We have just played - close to sunset - "Rucksack", the entire "Radioactivity" album, "Europe Endless" and the entire "Man Machine" album on our verandah stereo here in Australia, feeling privileged to have seen Kraftwerk perform 3 times in Australia and once during a backpacking holiday in Germany some years ago. Florian, we will always remember you - what you, Ralf - together with Karl and Wolfgang in particular - created was both visionary and extraordinarily beautiful. As a letter writer to the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper said today: "A warm Godspeed on the autobahn to heaven. RIP Herr Florian Schneider".
