@@liamhart1202 I disagree personally, the Yakuza 0 style specific themes only played in street fights with the basic Yakuza, Bikers, etc. Long battles and boss fights still had their own music so they never changed the tone of a fight where it really matters.
That is why I love it lol. I think cinematic music kind of cliche and overused in many games,This series always gave us different fighting genres music. Can't expect less from Sega and RGG,They're always goat when it come to soundtrack.
I feel they both appeal to the trend of VGM at the time, in the 2000’s it was all about the overdrive guitar and rocking out to buff dudes, and in the 2010’s we shifted over to more energetic electronic music and breakdancing.
the music in the first one was great, the only problem was the insane loading screen times for each NORMAL BATTLE. i played only once to the final and i swear never play again. yakuza 2 was the most replayable because solved the loading screen problems and some combat problems. After a lot of years...the yakuza kiwami improved a lot since the original game...have everithing the original yakuza lacked in that time(because ps2 limitations)
Season 3 and next character to be revealed comes with a map so its a guest character. If its not Kiryu then Harada is the dumbest person in the planet. Kiryu is literally the most asked to be in tekken and Yakuza's director gave the approval so that they can put him there.
As someone new to the Yakuza franchise, this game has some of the most insane throws I've ever seen. Grabbing someone from behind near a wall or steel fence is absolute brutality. Also this music definitely feels right at home in a Tekken game.

I loved this song so much back when I played the original, after watching the trailer for this remake, I can honestly say that this is a well made remix of the song. It's not too bad for sounding edm. Yakuza is real good at taking old tracks and remastering them in different ways for new releases in the franchise. I will always love the original Funk, but this has my salute.

I just beat yakuza Kiwami and every time I hear this it reminds of fighting majima to the point Kiryu comes close to dying and out of health items , beating him and then going to a convenience store, drug store, or restaurant to gain back my health and then coming out and walking a block down the street just to fight majima again 2 mins later after I already beat him. This song also reminds me of constantly walking near a group of thugs (which a lot of them are just the same character models) on the street and them suddenly initiating a fight with me. Halfway the through the game I just started running from people who were chasing me( especially after bringing my health back up)
