Tomorrow I'll be able to play through the campaign myself and see all the info live, but for those that want to see it, here's my initial reaction to the newly released cinematics.
In short my opinion is a bit mixed. Cinematics look awesome as always and I love the fight. It's unable to shake my general criticism of b4a which is we've done this so many times now.
That said, imo best case scenario for the story we've given. Excited to see what's next!

The thing is, the Forsaken as a whole understand they've been abandoned by Sylvanas as well, and they're hurting the hardest from it. In the words of two Forsaken Refugees in Orgrimmar: "We are her people!" "Not anymore."
If anything, your character could pull off the "I've been abandoned by Sylvanas and *she will die for it"* bit better than most characters, BECAUSE of how heavily decked out you are in Forsaken imagery.

Sylvanas doesn't serve the Old Gods, Sylvanas serves Death. Her whole schtick this whole expansion has been in fueling the war to add more bodies to the pile and more souls to the Shadowlands. This is looking more and more like it was actually some kind of plot put together by some kind of Death related entity (perhaps Death has it's own 'higher avatar' like the Light has the Naaru and the Void the Void Lords) to give it all the power it needs for some grand plan. One thing I really liked about this cinematic is that it finally shows us something Blizz only really told us before: Saurfang is smart. He's the Horde's top military commander, second only to the Warchief, for a reason. He knew exactly how to get what he wanted out of Sylvanas: he played into her sadism to get the mak'gora, and during the mak'gora, when he realized she had him outmatched so long as she kept her cool, he began hitting her buttons. He'd seen how badly she reacted to Delaryn denying her nihilistic worldview and clinging to hope in the face of death, and it's not exactly uncommon knowledge that she reacts poorly to failure. So Saurfang zeroed in on those and kept hammering those flaws, bringing up all the times in the war she came up short, finishing it with finally getting a blow in on her. Nothing major, just enough to set her off. And set her off it did.
At that point, who won the fight was immaterial, and they both knew it. Sylvanas had to take a moment to figure out her next step and decided doubling down was her only real option here, since he just played her into squandering the Horde's support in one sentence. Saurfang knew he was probably going to die, but he died knowing he saved the Horde from a civil war much less lopsided than the one Garrosh brought on himself.
I wish we had more cinematics where characters who are supposed to be smart or wise actually play the part. So far, the only smart character who behaves intelligently is Sylvanas, and that's mostly just because her fight with Bolvar turned into a clown show of ineffectual flailing while she strutted about spewing out catch phrases right out of a Rob Liefeld comic book.

If Sylvanas thinks she can even remotely compare the power of N'zoth... put it this way
(40k) That'd be like Magnus The Red thinking they were able to dominate Tzeentch, Chaos God of Change.

Never said she thinks she is more cunning or is more powerful. It does not take a genius to figure out releasing an old god will cause a lot of death. I think her plan is to open the door and then get the hell out of the way. Hide in the shadowlands until next expansion.
For me it all comes down to if she have a master. Based in the cosmology chart from chronicles, there is still room for a Cosmic entity behind death, a kin to the power of Titans or Void Lords.
Maybe Mueh'zala is the cosmic avatar of Death or something, and he feeds on souls of the dead...
Would lead nicely into shadowlands plot, and I could see it working for both faction. The night warrior for the ally, and Loa Voljin for horde.

You already have to choose 1 of 2 factions that splits the player base down the middle...now you want to introduce two more? How will that work with existing guilds for example? It also means you permanently take away zones from players, because they are now hostile all of a sudden. Technically, you might be able to still be able to access these zones for older quests or whatever reason via altered zone states, but come on. This would cause all sorts of problems. Not to mention that it makes it even harder to find people for groups, raids, etc. No. That is one thing I'm 99% sure they'd never do.

As far as Forsaken reaction: I don't think the current Forsaken in game are supposed to be the same Forsaken as pre-Wrath. Since the change, their start zone as well as other lore sources have heavily implied that the vast majority of the current Forsaken were raised by Sylvanas rather than freed by her. The OG Forsaken remaining were portrayed as few in number as well as so rotted (because apparently undeath does not stop decay in WoW) they're falling apart. In addition, the Forsaken killed by Sylvanas at the planned reunion in Arathi between The Forsaken and their living relatives *had* to be OG Forsaken where she just sort of slaughtered them. So no, I don't think Sylvanas would find much support among the Forsaken let alone the fanatical loyalty she'd once held.

Edit: Oh crap, I made my comment half way through the video. Turns out Nobbel is watching the outcome in this video.
I'mm a proud supporter of Sylvanas, both before and after 8.2.5. Admittedly the outcome did feel a little odd considering that I play as a Blood Elf Paladin, but I'm 100% committed to her cause and used the Darkshore transmog set; so I thankfully didn't look out of place in the ingame cinematic.
WARNING CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE SYLVANAS LOYALIST ROUTE:
Sylvanas loyalists (finally!) got their own branch of the story like cracking down on Saurfang supporters within the walls of Orgrimmar before the Mak'Gora which felt so good to do. Seeing Saurfang die at the hands of Sylvanas was a cheerful moment.
After the battle, a dark ranger hands us an envelope and requests our presence at WIndrunner Spire which Sylvanas wrote to us in the worst case scenario (she didn't intend to denounce the Horde).
In the epilogue we got to see Nathanos and Sylvanas part ways and a revelation that Sylvanas has a pact with Azshara and currently seeks to annihilate all life "to feed the darkness". Sylvanas also says that the Saurfang Alliance will play into her hands because there will be casualties when they fight N'Zoth and she has a plan to kill N'Zoth and enslave him to the undeath. Sylvanas walks away as well, but vowed to be back.
Sylvanas is an evil antagonists, there's no denying that. But it's so strange to see people rile up because the don't get their annual loot pinata that every expansion so far has provided. Blizzard actually doing something new like playing as an actual evil faction is worthy of praise.
Also, as a bonus there was never any competition when I quested because >95% of the playerbase was outside the walls.
