About Aubrey… as I said I really liked the movie and the ending but bc I don’t know if you watched it so *spoiler alert* ppl are upset bc they wanted Kristen to end up with Aubrey but I’m glad they didn’t. Mackenzie was obviously still struggling with the image that her parents have of her and her competing against her sister for their approval which made it very difficult for her to come out to them but it didn’t take away from how much she loved Kristen. Aubrey was burned by Mackenzie too in the past so imo if she and Kristen have ended up together it would’ve been so predictable but throughout the story there was no real chemistry between Aubrey and Kristen and I’m glad Kristen stayed with Mackenzie bc imo it’s more realistic.. you don’t have to be with someone just bc they have a similar sexual orientation as you but bc you love them and want to be with them and try to forgive by looking into the person and beyond their mistakes, no one is perfect. Kristen & Mackenzie had a very long relationship and were in love. On the other hand Kristen & Aubrey met each other like maybe 3-4 times and ppl actually think they should end up together? No. This isn’t how the real world works imo.
@@crumbsies It is at this point I hasten to add that I can totally understand why people do want that ending because Aubrey Plaza is so instantly magnetic in even supporting roles that it might colour their judgement with respect to the integrity of this story. 2017 offered up two tremendous media satires that I felt both deserved a Best Picture nod - one was _I, Tonya_ with Margot Robbie but the other was _Ingrid Goes West_ with Aubrey Plaza. If you haven’t already seen the latter I highly recommend it because Plaza continues to be a criminally underrated actor.
