Awesome Pump Collection. It is a pleasure to see all the pumps together. Congratulations Rob Do not give up, never. We are together. Congratulations Rob From Rio Brazil.
Thank you my friend. You have been watching my videos for a very long time. Thank you for your continued support and interest in gas pumps made in America 🇺🇸 My father used to say never give up! Take care , Gas Pump Rob
Thank you Peter, I appreciate you visiting and leaving a comment. Some of these old gas pumps still have the original dust on them just as I found them in a barn or off the farm.
What an awesome collection Rob. I don't think I've ever seen so many nice examples in one spot buddy !! I'm running behind with everyone I follow because its been so hectic around here with all the prep for the annual beef and pork butchering. Keep on collecting my friend.
Thank you my friend. I am also way behind on watching videos because I have been busy many doing different kinds of work here lately . If I was near you I would ask to buy some fresh pork and beef 🥩. I will have to visit your channel soon and catch up. Take care
Amazing video. I really enjoyed the intro of the sun shining on your collection. I bet it's awesome to wake up to that image. Would you by any chance be attending Pate Swap Meet in Ft. Worth TX this spring. Thanks for sharing
Hello Chris, Thank you 😊 that is my favorite part of the video . I most likely won’t be able to travel to Pate in Texas . I hope you can make it and enjoy yourself looking for treasures!
Thank you ⛽️⛽️⛽️⛽️I have been collecting these since the mid 1990s. These are becoming very scarce and difficult to find these days in original condition. Thank you for visiting and commenting tonight.
And they still bring crack across the Rio grande 😳🤔. Rio grande cracked gasoline. How often wonder Mohawk gas ⛽ were there any connections between them and Mohawk tires?
Interesting you mention this. Cracked Gasoline was one of Rio Grande octane levels back in the day. The name was derived from the process of refining the gasoline. As far as Mohawk gasoline and tires I have no idea if any connection??? That is a very good question!
@@gaspumprob I couldn't resist making the crack of a joke about crack gasoline in Rio grande that just was too tempting to pass up. But I never heard it before and your explanation is great on why they called it that. Someone had a question ⁉️. Why is there gasoline really all that it was cracked up to be🤣🤣🤣

@@gaspumprob Yes, I diden't think you would! Understand totally, worked as a security guard for over 20years and the "climate" just getting worse and worse! @@gaspumprob Rob, with all the connections that you have, do you know anyone that restores these pumps to mint condition.. I have my eye on a large aircraft hangar that I want to purchase to store a car collection and I would love to get some of the Flying A signs and ⛽ to put with the cars... I'm going to subscribe to your channel to watch more of your videos.. Take care my friend and God Bless.. Thx again for sharing your collection with us...
@garyjones2582 Yes I have a friend in Arizona that restores pumps to beautiful condition. When you get to the point of wanting one or more restored you can contact me here and I will get his contact information to you. Thanks for the compliment on my collection and for subscribing. Have a blessed day as well.
Rob, what a unique collection of pumps you have. Although I have never heard of some of the brands of gasoline I love all the different styles and colors to catch your attention. Has "American Pickers" ever contacted you? Good to see this video!
Hello Rodney, Thank you for visiting and commenting on these old gas pumps. It makes perfect sense to me that you did not recognize some of these gas brands. The reason you didn’t recognize is a good amount of them were only west coast, California oil companies. Whenever I buy an old gas pump if it has a West Coast oil company decal on it or advertising glass. I always put it aside and save it for my personal collection because that’s part of local history for me. As far as American Pickers is concerned they have not contacted me but I have brought three pumps from them out in Iowa. Robbie Wolfe and I set up as vendors next to each other often times at the Iowa Gas Oil Swap Meet in Des Moines, Iowa . We always get along great. Good to hear from you. Take care
Thank you very much. I Honestly do not have a count of how many are in the collection. Well over two hundred is my guess. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment.
I was thinking the same How many? It shows how big a boom the cars were when they became something that more and more people could own. Great history in this collection.
I appreciate your narration; very informative and enthusiastic. The soundtrack, however is very unsettling and makes me feel uncomfortable and agitated! I wanted to hear what you have to say, but had to end my session because of the creepy sound. Just so you know! Maybe a fun, 1930s tune would be more appealing and pull viewers into your collection. Thank you.
