There is a decently long traverse depending on which trail you choose in Casablanca. I’m able to skate my way over to the end with some effort, but snowboarders usually need to walk.
Great question. If you're hoping to shred Casablanca, be prepared to unstrap and hike a bit. Many/most feel it's worth it, and hopefuly the traverse is packed down enough by March that you don't sink too deep. However...some of the best glades to be had are very easy to access so it's totally up to you. Trails to add to your hit-list: Dark Wizard (steepest), Intimidator, Nightmare Glades, as well as Thrombosis . All these are great and have no traverse nor any flatter sections so you can stay strapped in from top-of-chair to bottom-of-chair. Bonus trail: Governor (it's not through the trees but it's an amazing natural trail!)
Great job. Love the vibe 👍🏻
Haha great review guys loved the sponsorship comment an beer on the lift part that’s how my group decides if we like a lift
Thanks alot! We’re still looking for those sponsors. Lol.
Great great place to go! We go every year to Rangeley… it’s even nice summer and winter!

Excellent use of sarcasm.. a lost art in todays comfy culture
Great review! Gotta ask as I’ll be snowboarding there this March, why are the glades hard to access for snowboarders?

@@MaineMountainMedia thank you for the reply! I’ll definitely check em out!
What trail was the first shot on? It looks so open. Is it at the top of the mountain?
I think it was Grey Ghost. Skier left off the Rangeley Quad. Great views of the lake to the west.
