I agree, because those wells are Cooper and his, he's was just taking them on without Cami knowing, I think the big meeting is him keeping control of them and not Cami, since she didn't know about them anyway. Then she goes Belly up, because she trusted him on 10% possibility or i hope she does anyway. I think Nate/Neal 😂is the traitor in the house. It would be him or Dale? They have access, and one of the synopsis I heard was "Andy" watching the house or cameras in the house. But no idea how much of that is true. We'll find out Sunday or Saturday night at midnight if you have Paramount +!

Sling Blade showed BBT at his finest. Not many could pull off that kind of role, he was so believable! He ain’t going anywhere. I was prepared for Coopers wedding!

I think its the HBO model, run a series on 10, 1 hour long episodes. I know shows like Mad Men, breaking bad, sopranos etc all had longer series in episode numbers but i think people seen what was possible financially off the back of game of thrones (excluding merchandise etc.)

Im from East Texas. Palestine. There is stand your ground and if your on video and that person is incapacitated and you choose to beat them to a pulp then yes you can get charged with assault. But a lawyer can say it was in the heat of the moment and he couldn't stop.
Or if he dies from it, self defense becomes more difficult to prove

This season has been very slow. We get it, the old man is sad, Cami is in over her head, and Cooper made a bad deal. Could have done that all in 3 episodes.

Yes we need personal stories, but there's way too much time spent on cheerleading and tantrums instead of focusing on oil and big business. There must be a lot that goes on in this industry that would be super interesting.

Haven’t lived in the oilfield all your life. Have you? I have. No show could cover what you ask to your satisfaction. If interested, come work with us. Honestly, we need the diversions because the work can be long, dangerous, and heartbreaking. My career has been up and down more than a bar girls panties. Usually not my fault, and usually blindsided. These youngers think 40 years experience is 40 year old technology. Won’t listen, don’t have to and when Mother Nature spanks them they blame it on us. I’ve got more college than any of the engineers I ever talked with. (Pharmacy, medical schools, surgery residency, military. General,Trauma , War Surgeon. Flight Surgeon, FAA Medical Examiner, and more. Many years dealing with life and death, and looking at multi-million $ lawsuits every time I went into surgery. These cry babies are just dealing with lots of $, and it’s not even theirs. When they’re on their feet 36 hours straight, they don’t even know where they are. They are trained that all the new stuff is better. Guess what? Mother Nature hasn’t changed and she likes to keep jewelry. All that shiny steel you put down that hole is just jewelry to her. Heartbreak to you. Need a welder that can weld the crack of dawn or a broken heart. Even Murchison Drilling School can’t show it all. They were bought out by a big company for their employees only. Taught by engineers. O-rings and engineers done screwed up the oil field.

Just like alot of Taylors female characters. Just like Beth in Yellowstone. It was a waste of story time with her character at some points.

You have got to be kidding! Angela and Ainsley make the show. They are hysterical together and give the show a a spin all of its own. Besides, Tommy needs Angela to keep him young, alive, and on his toes. I love the look on his face when hes around Angela. She brings a whole new dimension to BBT's role. Both these ladies are brilliant in their roles as mother and daughter with a close knit dynamic together. Both are great actresses. Angela and Ainsley are both multidimensional, carefree and very friendly.
What would Nate and Dale do if they didn't have the ladies to keep them entertained, frustrated or annoyed!
T.L. noticed right away the energy they bring into the household. He appreciates how happy they always are and just sits back to watch them "cackle" What a great line that was for his appreciation for his DIL and granddaughter, who apparently looks like his recently deceased wife, when she was young. Sam Elliot is perfect for the part of T.L., he's finally learning how to be a father to Tommy. Its bittersweet.
Back to the ladies, I disagree with you completely. This show needs both these ladies and their good vibes to make us laugh. They know how to celebrate life and have a good time.
I like Angela and Ainsley, but spending too much time on Ainsley and her school problem was filler. They are an essential part of the show, but erratic dinners, and unrealistic drinking with the elderly can be kept to a minimum too.
The family aspect to the show is what makes it all work. I disagree
Season 2 isn't lame, they got Sam Elliott now and he is the BIGGEST Legend of the show so it's FAR BETTER with him in it now!!!
Andy Garcia is also a great actor
Its not lame, but we need more focus on the business side of things. Angela and Ainsley eat up alot of screen time without any meaningful plots. What they do have consists of whacky side adventures. Great once in awhile, but its every episode.
I agree. Their antics are superficial to the show and take up too much time.
Getting so tired of the way Taylor Sheridan does his shows. First season is good, 2nd trails off down some rabbit hole, then we have to wait forever for another season IF we get one and then we might get 10 episodes per season. I think he gets too many irons in the fire at the same time!

Yeah, I thought it was a slow burn too! TBH I thought it was going to end with the wedding.
Too much focus on cheerleading camp, it’s turning into Dallas, with all the sexual liaisons. Much more could have been done with tighter focus on the main story line. Sam Elliot was a nice addition, but even that is turning into a sexual subplot.

And there is room for a little mom daughter comedy but making the whole college dorm thing and Angela's charades taking up so much air time...to me its ruining the show. I like the oil field, workers, problem storyline and I think adding Sam Elliott with some promise of a surprising storyline could be a plus. And definitely more than 10 shows for a season. So much was wasted on nonsense. I wouldn't mind seeing Cooper have more airtime and more going on. Seems like Taylor has only thrown him in with negative scenes and stories. Let's see something good happen with Cooper, more than just a wedding. And we dont need a big soap opera wedding. I want night time drama!

He goes to borrow money for him and Cooper to finish that deal. Cami didn't buy those wells, Tommy did with her money so to speak, without he knowledge. So he's got the Wells and no money. I think that's where the shows going, he's got to keep up his deal for Copper. As for the backstabber, I think it's Nate/ Neil 😂. That's my guesses or predictions for the finale.

Not an oil man are you. Face challenges every day. I could tell you about my Dad. Hughes Bit Journal said he was the very best. You learn a little do pretty well. In oil field no one wants you to fail, just not do as well as them. You handle things pretty well. Decide to see how long you can keep a trophy wife and her baggage. A challenge. You know the odds are against you. He’ll, then you have good stories about something that everyone can relate to. Not many can relate to oil stories, but the trophy wife is different. Now you can talk to men in every field. Next round is on you. Top this disaster.

I thought the mother daughter story line was cute in season 1, but they've taken it way too far and given them too much time in season 2. A lot of what they did this season wasn't cute, but ridiculous.

I think Sheridan can still work on shows currently running and will do so until 2029. But anything new will be made for NBC. Which lines up since Tulsa King is intended to run 6 seasons and I think Landman will be 5 seasons total. Mayor of Kingstown is ending this year with season 5.

T.L. Oil, Tommy’s new company. He takes a loan from Gallino. Hence the threat in the preview. Tommy takes all of his guys. Boss and Nate stay to be Cami’s yes boys. Gallino already said he wants Thomas, and IF Cami hits gas or she doesn’t he wins. When Cami fails next season Gallino owns Mtex and now Gallino is and always has been the villain. Cami takes her settlement money from MTex and invests in T.L.Oil to beat Gallino and run him out of Texas the end of the series. Some side stuff happens along the way, the end.

I feel like there was a lot of time wasted on Cooper jumping through hoops for Ariana. The chemistry isnt great with them and I'm sick of seeing him all beaten up or groveling while her dad threatens his life. His storyline is really knecapped by her.

That is incorrect. He has said he will stay as long as the showrunners will have him. Being fired just sets up a different storyline for season 3. Not his exit.

Wonder how much she actually knew about Danny as she could've cared less when tommy told her he was moments away from being a human s'more after having gas poured on him.
