So very good to see you! I have been a self-taught silversmith because of you…10 years now. I have great basic skills which aids in thinking outside the box, cuz of you! You are my mentor and soooooo very happy to see you are still on the planet! Do take care, my friend and see you soon! Your friend, Jan
Great to see you back Soham, I suggest to people at my local lapidary club where I teach silversmithing to watch your videos as they are very easy to understand and follow, you have always been my inspiration in the first place and where I begin silversmithing.
So happy to see you post another video! I have missed you ❤. You are an excellent teacher and I have learned so much from you. Happy to see you are well and will look forward to more of your content!
So good to see u Soham.. have been on hiatus for several years to care for my son who was battling cancer ..always enjoyed your videos. Taught me so much...take care...✌️❤️✌️🇨🇦
HI Soham! So good to see you. I can completely vouch for the excellent design and construction of this great clasp hook. I wear the bracelets you made me every single day. They almost never come off. The beautiful ferules and file handles you made are loved and admired every time I hold my hand files. These all are VERY treasured. I'm so glad you are still on the planet - and doing well. Fantastic! Oooh, guess what, I have been invited to jump on a vintage Ducati next week for a cruise upcountry. Thought of you. 🌺
Chow to you too! From Texas USA. You are an inspiration to me!! My mentor mentioned watching you several years ago. Ive learned many things from you. And again, I cant thank you enough! 🤗
Wonderful to see you are still here and well! You have given me so much assurance to move forward in my silversmithing journey. Your words "Take your time" in.your calm voice opened up a block I didn't know I had. Thank you so much.
So glad to see you back. I enjoy your teaching style and your straight forward approach. Thanks for the great lessons and for the skills you have taught me and others. Cheers!

So, so happy to see you again! Thank you so much for this video and all the others. I've been silversmithing for 14 years now and my skills have improved over the years thanks to you. With gratitude and hope to see you soon, Nora
Also, I wanted to say thank you for the videos that you create because I live so far away from everything that having someone as an instructor via video is really helpful for me just starting out and learning.
Glad to see other people independently came to the same jump ring winding method I did way back in high school, though I was working with aluminum and steel which springs back much more vigorously than silver or brass. So after a few unfortunate incidents I always wore a leather glove - or covered my fingers with duct tape!
I have missed you sir. I so enjoy your work and instructions. Very nice to see your face too. Most of your videos don't show your wonderful face. I think I would recognize your hands if I saw them in person.
Hi Soham! Great you're doing well. So nice to have you back in RUclips. Loved this tutorial 💟💯👏🏻. Looking forward to any kind of jewelry making tutorials of yours, whatever kind your keen to do 😃😊. PD: would love to see ring making tutorials, simple rings that anyway turn great with your great skill.💕🌈☀️🍀 I learn a lot from you. Following you from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷
I think it’s great that you said that good morning and I wanted to let you know it’s I’m still on the planet because I was wondering is this man still on the planet lol
So very happy to see you and your work is so inspiring! can’t wait to give this a try… could I put it through my rolling mill after twisting to make it a flat curb chain??
Hi there, I'm not sure what master Soham will say on this good question, but for me I find that using a round profile plier on the outside of a loop or curve can put a small dent in the wire - more so than a flat surface. On the inside of the loop/jump ring/curve, etc. The pressure on the metal is in accord with the shape of the round tip pliers, and even if it does make a mark, it is usually less severe and also visually hidden a bit more on the inside, helpful if you can't or don't want to clean up marks. Those are just my experiences. I hope that is helpful. 🌺🌺🌺
Loved this video. “I just wanted to let you know that I’m still on the planet.” 😂 We’re so glad you are Soham 🤘

Hello old friend
What avantage are the flat round instead of double round pliers?
Hi there, I'm not sure what master Soham will say on this good question, but for me I find that using a round profile plier on the outside of a loop or curve can put a small dent in the wire - more so than a flat surface. Thanks! Makes sense.
