Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, it's my intention to do so. I would have simply used the rules as they are and fudged them in order to enjoy my figures (some don't think that SP2 works too well for non-muskety weapons), but I believe that an adaptation has been written by a member of the community, John Savage. I believe they're in Lardy Magazine.
Great review ive been highly tempted by this period in 10mm but these look really good looks like another addition is pending for the metal and plastic mountain
I couldn’t claim enough expertise in the period to definitely recommend a particular book or site at this stage I’m afraid. The leaflets in the boxes and some general internet searches were my start points.
These are designed to compliment the existing 28mm Perry metal miniatures in this range. So, if you want Prussian jagers, you'll need to buy metal minis. Speaking personally, I would've preferred to see the casualty figure on the command sprue. Who ever needs 5 identical casualty figures? Also, I would've preferred an NCO in place of one of the two musicians, with the musician being optional for drum or bugle.
I tend to agree that you end up with quite a few casualty figures and I do also find myself with the same desire to have an NCO figure crammed into the command frame at least in addition to the bugler and/or drummer.
If you mean an unboxing then sadly I don’t have any that I could review at the moment. I have several hundred on popsicle sticks that have been primed though!
Thank you very much. The leaflet explains that there are only two flags as the line infantry flags were very similar and only varied in small design details. I suspect GMB is probably the way to go in any case.
@@thelastbattalion3509 Actually a number of regiments like 1-12 carried flags from the Napoleonic era. Newly joined states like the Brunswickers retaind their own flags rather than the Prussian design. Very enjoyable, thank you. Can one use figures from this period with Sharp Practice rules?

Thank you, I’m glad if you found it useful.
They do look good sets and I will certainly be getting some when I finish my latest project
You have greater self restraint than I do!
Could you recommend a book or a website that has full color images of the Prussian soldiers’ uniforms both front & back?

Osprey has a book titled GERMAN ARMIES 1870-1871 (1). Plenty of free images on Pinterest also.

Thanks for the very good review. Will certainly get these sets. The number of different flags is disappointing. Never the less super interesting set.
