- During the mid-summer 2020 break, we interviewed some LEC pros and
asked them to give us the first LEC player that they associate with certain words or terms.
These were some of their answers.

the last few years he was pretty good because he won 1v1 and 1v2 often, now teams know they can only take 100% fights against him (and he still won't back off)
if he was more tryhard, he'd probably be insane

Tbh most terrifying iteration of Fnatic (ie 2015) had Yellow star and Febi as consistent figures.
While Huni Reignover were coinflip Gods.
So its in fnatics fundamentals i guess.

I remember huni being a coinflip. He was more consistent in the summer split but at worlds he returned to be a coinflip player
Reignover used to camp top, you need to listen to Rekkles talk about FNC 2015 and how Huni-centric it was. You cant be coinflip if you are the team main win condition and you go 18-0
Alphari gigasmurfing being able to say Hyli and consistent in the same sentence with a straight face
Consistently using a coin to decide how you are going to play the game , and also consistently flipping tails for some reason

I think it's the only strength of Larssen while Caps is all round the best at pretty much everything. So they hype up Larssen's strengths i guess

@@woozywitanuzi6208 Smite steals are done by the players that hasn't started the objective , thats why its steal . If you are talking about MAD games there he secured the smites or didn't miss them and shadow failed to steal which is the correct wording
Trick did some good smites lately too.

He plays very safely, which is why it looks quite average this split, for example; After all, it's not like he's completely "popping off", so it's an understandable feeling, I guess. But playing safely and therefore looking average score-wise should not imply average level of play: He's a player who's great at capitalizing on opportunities without giving opportunities to the enemy team, which, in the end, is basically what League is about.
@@samplebriefmint4204 yah, thats why the LCK safe style is winning everything against LPL aggro. He is too safe, and too passive. If he was playing great he would have eny interesting number, wich he doesnt
@@sensaiko Well, I guess we have different opinions on that. I mean, you definitely make a fair point, and the question of how safe someone (or rather, a team) should play is definitely valid - But I would find it hard to capture one specific playstyle as definitely superior. Imo, technically, a perfect "safe" playstyle should always win against a perfect "aggro" playstyle since the aggro playstyle won't be able to get anything, but obviously no one ever plays perfect, whether it's safe or aggro style.

Not only that but also voted for "lane kingdom" he literally has -4 CSD at 15. There is very little you can complement special for after this split but his laning really did not stand out.

@@aviquu it's alphari 4 times and upset 3 times, so its not just alphari, although he has by far the most Votes out of OG.
Well and Destiny's there too as it was made some time ago...
So, even without alphari OG would be in 4/5.

Why no Larssen in "consistent"?
This was filmed around week 5, not recently.
It just feels, that none of the RGE players is outstanding. They are all really good, but when you think Rogue, you do not think about the specific players or specific plays/champions. . That's why probably no one said Larssen.
@@patryktomczyk822 Well... no. When I think Rogue, I see Larssen out cs'ing everyone, carrying teamfights and being extremely consistent. Rogue without Larrsen would be a middle of the pack team.

Rekkles and Hyli compensate each other by their style of play. That's what makes them good. If both were playing extra safe or both were playing extra coin-flip they wouldn't work.
