We’ve stayed every summer since they opened! We’ve never been treated better by any resort staff anywhere else and that keeps us coming back year after year! I see Edwin in the first minute of your video - he’s the best! ❤
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting! The Treasure Island Beach Resort was great. Beautiful property and a relaxing place. I can totally see why you’d go regularly. Cheerio!
Yes it is. Keep the Opal Collection on your radar. I guess they’re hotels but they strike a nice balance and are kinda on the margins between hotel and timeshare. Really cool properties! Thanks for checking it out!
I’ve been watching this video so much. I have a 4 year old.. any must go to attractions that you and your family loved going to? We will be at this resort in May. Thanks for doing these reviews. Keep ‘em coming! You are fantastic at hitting all the points
Thanks a bunch for watching! I do hope it was helpful. The public beach area (I don’t know what it’s officially called) is a short walk and is visible from Treasure Island. They have bouncy houses and slides which will be fun for a four year old. Mostly I felt TI was more of a sleepy beach town and good for relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the sunsets were beautiful. The Treasure Island Beach Resort is definitely the gem of this beach. Hope you have an awesome trip!!
What a great review. I wish there was one of these for every hotel that existed. I wonder what you paid per night there? Did you go for 1 day or 7 days. At $500 a night its pretty expensive in May.
Big thanks for checking out the video and taking time to comment! Yeah, the Opal properties are pretty expensive but they’re also pretty nice. We stayed for 4 nights at about $440 per night I think we visited in April/May. Also check out the Lido Beach Resort (I covered this property also) and there’s lots to do in Sarasota. Happy to answer any questions 👍🏾
Hey! Great to hear from ya! The sunset views on Treasures Island Beach are bomb! There was no better place to be at magic hour than on the balcony to our suite.
I think it’s a great family resort for Treasure Island. The pool is not ideal for kids but it still works. However the accommodations and beach are great! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Good question! Answer: Opal Sands🤣 It really depends on what you’re looking for and I think you’d have to consider whether you’re in the mood to visit Clearwater or Treasure Island. Clearwater is more touristy with more to do. Treasure Island has resorts but feels quieter and more beach town. I think Sandpearl is the win for most (bigger pool, more dining options, more activities in Clearwater) but I personally really do like Treasure Island which is newer with more stylish rooms but that pool is small for kids.

Looks clean and sheek! How did you feel about it as a family place?

Did she say good job old man on that slide.. LOL
That’s exactly what she said🤣. I had to talk he in to trying the slide then after she didn’t want to stop.
Hope the fam is doing well! Brews soon?
Between The SandPearl and Treasure Island which would you choose for a family?
