I first found Band Maid thru RUclips suggested video after watching Scandal videos. I was hooked and I loved hearing Kanami. I play guitar but the parts Kanami chooses are parts I wouldn't have ever thought of, but they are always perfect. I respect her genius.
Her early interest in classical music contributed to the fact her compositions are in a classical/orchestral style- layers. Did you forget to turn off the Japanese translation. Alone, at first listen, seems like a simple pop punk song, but the time signatures, especially by Akane are so complex, but transition seamlessly between sections. Just genius composing. I'm with you about Kanami. Thanks for this reaction. Kanami only seems to stick out when she solos, but she is such an important part of the success of Band-Maid. Kanami is a wonderful pianist. I agree with you 100%, I wish she would create a Band-Maid songbook for piano. So many young artists start out by playing piano and learning to play Band-Maid songs and create new fans. Kanami is funny as hell in real life. She is such a sweet, kind, joyful person, I would love to spend a casual day with her.
The last where you mentioned you haven't seen that part of Kanami is from their latest Documentary from Yokohama Arena. It sure was a teary one for me😂😂😂
at first I feel I have a crush to Miku and saiki but later as I watch video of kanami I really fell I love , I love her being as an artist her acts and the way she handle her guitar and most of all her mincho mode.....
