There was a JW family who lived down the street from us years ago. I was always out in my yard working when their little girl came up and talked to me. We greeted her and asked her if she was ready for Christmas. She said "WE don't celebrate Christmas." I asked her if she believed in Jesus and she said yes. I asked her how she could believe in Jesus and not celebrate His miraculous birth. She said she didn't know but would ask her mother. She came back later and informed me that her mother told her she couldn't talk to me anymore. I have often thought of her and prayed that I had planted a seed in that little girl that would make look further than her mother's false teaching.
Christ, Yahusha (Jesus) wasn't born on Christmas, or even in the winter. Your Pagan holidays are false teachings, just like your false sabbaths, no different than the confused and indoctrinated JWs and Catholics. I pray you look further than your indoctrination and remove the splinter from your own eye before you try to help anyone else.
They are kind of strict about Christmas I have a sister that she became JW and she stayed away almost all her life. Our mother passed away and came to the funeral but was afraid to go into the church but she anyway and her Colt kicked her out of the Jehovah witness but the damage has been done nephews and nieces are involved

They don't celebrate man made holidays. That's probably the one thing i agree on. Modern Christmas celebration has nothing to do with Jesus being born. Secular people celebrate Christmas.

Thank you Jack. You are much loved. Please pray for my husband. Severe diabetes, vascular dementia. He became A Christian 58 yes ago before we got married. He had no idea of the Christian faith and I was unwell. He wanted to go to church but I didn't when I was good he didn't want to and visa versa. We have thought as the years past to get involved but there are no churches really worth going to AND WE TRIED THEM ALL. We javelin been doing church at home and thank GOD for you, Amir, Jan JD and others. W3 are growing in the Lord but I have seen a wonderful change in him. He loves you Jan and Amir. He like JD but you guys are his favorite. Pray for his health, that his hunger for God increases. J would like to say more but x doesn't allow it.

Keep praying. I escaped my parents home and the JWs when I turned 18. I've been saved for 30+ yrs now, but my parents, who are now around 80 years of age are still in there since 1972. Never give up. The Holy Spirit can still work on their hearts, if they are not completely hardened. I've been ministering to cult defectors for almost 20 years, so I know it can happen.

I was raised Catholic but as i got older,im now 56 i began going to a baptist church and got baptised in the church,my husband used to be a baptist as a younger man but he joined the J.w.around 22 him and his ex wife,I went to the hall with him but could not go any longer,i only went a hand full of times but knowing what the bible teaches and what they teach is not biblical,they believe that Jesus is a created being and that he is Michael the archangel and they dont believe in a literal hell or the Trinity,they belive in honoring God first not Jesus
Amazing Pastor Jack! I have Jehovah witnesses come to our house once a month. We don’t listen to them really we just nod and want to be good Christians and not be mean but get rid of them. For the last couple of weeks since their last visit, I’ve had a nagging in my heart. I felt that God was telling me to witness back to them, but I don’t know what to say, or how to go about it. I really never knew what the difference was between a Jehovah witness and me as a Christian. Tonight, now I do. I thank you, and this is exactly what God was telling me to do and you laid it out for me. Thank you. Our God is amazing. Can’t wait for the next one. Prayers for you and all the teachers of His Word.
Please have them use their own JW bibles when showing these scriptures. Also please get Martins book Kingdom of the cults!!! It’s phenomenal and will answer so many scriptures that they use to dissuade people from who Jesus really is.

The Bible specifically commands in John's epistles that Christians are not not to even greet heretics or apostates, and that whoever does so is partaking in their deeds. It sounds mean to the ordinary person, but there is a very good reason why that command exists: it gives deceivers less opportunities to spread their lies to another victim, and it keeps the Christian from potentially being a victim.
Just be ready. I get it bc I have aunts that are JWs. This is their exact reasoning to Rev. 1:18, which to me I don’t believe.
JW explanation for Rev 1:18:
When Jesus presents himself by the title “the First and the Last,” he is not claiming equality with Jehovah, the Grand Creator. He is using a title properly bestowed on him by God. In Isaiah, Jehovah was making a statement about His unique position as the true God. He is God eternal, and besides him there is indeed no God. (1 Timothy 1:17) In Revelation, Jesus is talking about his bestowed title, calling attention to his unique resurrection.
3 Jesus was indeed “the First” human to be resurrected to immortal spirit life. (Colossians 1:18) Moreover, he is “the Last” to be so resurrected by Jehovah personally. Thus, he becomes “the living one . . . living forever and ever.” He enjoys immortality. In this, he is like his immortal Father, who is called “the living God.” (Revelation 7:2; Psalm 42:2) For all others of humanity, Jesus himself is “the resurrection and the life.” (John 11:25) In harmony with this, he says to John: “I became dead, but, look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.” (Revelation 1:18b) Jehovah has given him the authority to resurrect the dead. That is why Jesus can say that he has the keys to unlock the gates for those bound by death and Hades (gravedom).-Compare Matthew 16:18.

With parents who are JWs, I knew immediately what he meant by the title, but I was a little nervous how some might take the title if they didn't realize where he was going with it.
I absolutely loved this! As a post LDS and now a born again I found this so beneficial! Now when it comes to the LDS beliefs according to James E Talmage who wrote Jesus the Christ referenced Jehovah as Jesus. They call God Elohim. For me and having my eyes opened this helped me understand God and Yeshua as one. As the same. LDS perspective sees Jesus and God as two distinctly separate flesh made individuals. I have learned so much From Pastor Jack! I can't say Thank you enough for all this content that comes out. ❤

Pastor Jack, Thank you so much for this. I seem to be like a magnet for these folks who like knocking on doors, but to be honest, I hide behind the door and act like no one's home because I lack the confidence RE: not getting caught up in their tricks surrounding certain verses which they interpret so differently. These verses will be a big help. I even have them calling and writing letters to me as well. Lord have mercy! It'll be nice to have a better way of getting them to see rather than them "trying" to get me to change what I believe (which is not going to happen!).
I've been in this home for 25 years. When we first moved in we got them a lot. I always invite them in to talk. After a couple of times, they didn't come around anymore. I tell them up front that I've read the bible all of my life and that I'm pentecostal. I give them a chance to talk and then I start showing them scripture that destroys everything they are trying to teach. Most of them don't read their bible but are taught from the watchtower. They're bibles are like new. Don't be afraid to talk to them just show them scripture.
i met with LDS elders for weeks and weeks and learned a lot. That was 40 years ago. i think it's good to learn about other religions, especially when i can come back to the Truth. Recently, i got into a debate about Jesus being God and i remembered Hebrews 1:8. i'm convinced. If God Himself called Jesus "God" that should end the debate.

Your teachings today are an answer to my prayers. I had Jehovah witnesses come to my door a few weeks ago and did my best talking about the one true God. I feel like God is preparing me for round 2. Praise Jesus for this podcast. God is truly awesome!
Jehovah’s Witnesses are taught that Jesus is Michael the Archangel! Before I am contradicted…my best friend is a Jehovah’s Witness and he admits to that heresy being taught in JW cult.
The "one true God" is NOT Jesus Christ as Christendom teaches nor a nameless God, being only called "God" or "Lord" as so many believe, but he clearly made himself known in the Hebrew Scriptures, commonly but inaccurately called "the Old Testament", almost 7,000 times. At Jeremiah 10:10-12, it says: "But Jehovah is truly God. He is the living God and the eternal King."
"Because of his indignation the earth will quake, and no nations will endure his denunciation. This is what you should say to them: “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.” He is the Maker of the earth by his power, the One who established the productive land by his wisdom and who stretched out the heavens by his understanding."
At John 17:3, Jesus reaffirms this, saying in prayer to Jehovah God: "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you (Jehovah God), the only true God, AND (Jesus makes a clear separation between himself and "the only true God") the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ."
At Malachi 3, it shows Jesus as "the messenger of the (new) covenant" (Jer 31:31-34; Mal 3:1-3; Luke 22:19, 20), who came to make an inspection of the nation of fleshly Israel from 29-33 C.E. as the promised Messiah (Dan 9:24-27), which FAILS his inspection (Luke 19:41-44) and is judged worthy of destruction.(Luke 19:27) But there are a few whose "gift offering of Judah and of Jerusalem will actually be pleasing to Jehovah, as in the days of long ago and as in the years of antiquity."(Mal 3:4)
So, at Malachi 3:16-4:3, it says: "At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance was written before him for those fearing Jehovah and for those meditating on his name."
"And they will be mine,” says Jehovah of armies, “in the day when I produce a special property. I will show them compassion, just as a man shows compassion to his son who serves him. And you will again see the DISTINCTION between a righteous person (who loyally serves Jehovah God) and a wicked person (who does not), between one serving (Jehovah) God and one not serving him."
"For look ! the day is coming (called "the great tribulation", Matt 24:21), burning like a furnace, when all the presumptuous ones and all those practicing wickedness will become like stubble (or completely annihilated). We all are influenced by others or by our own self righteousness that we are the smarter ones who are correct. All of us…every single one if us, are preaching hearsay. Doing so has nearly destroyed my faith. I now avoid scriptures and churches and all forms of outside influences to my personal relationship with the Creator and his “only BEGOTTEN” son. My temple is in my heart. I have a very personal relationship with the Trinity. Is it not written in Scripture though that God the Father said of Jesus, and I quote from the Bible, “This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased.” So as Jesus said when He appeared to the Apostles and invited them to place their fingers in his pierced hands that they might believe it was really Him, blessed are they who have not seen, but who believe.” May you also know such peace as mine.

You are so right, that Jesus is NOT Almighty God, for he is as Matthew 12:18-21 states, that is a quote from Isaiah 42:1-4: "Look ! My servant (or Jehovah's servant) whom I chose, my beloved, whom I have approved ! I will put my spirit upon him, and what justice is he will make clear to the nations. He will not quarrel nor cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the main streets. No bruised reed will he crush, and no smoldering wick will he extinguish, until he brings justice with success. Indeed, in his name nations will hope.”
When Jesus asked his disciples who they thought he was, since word was going around the area of him being either John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah or one of the Prophets, Peter speaks up and says: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."(Matt 16:13-16)
Peter got it right, so why do so many continue to get it wrong ? Because they accept, without question or doing any SERIOUS Bible research, what Christendom has been giving out since the 4th century C.E., that Jesus is God and part of "the Holy Trinity".
Those who agree with "the Holy Trinity" are NOT like what the ancient Beroeans did, who "were more noble-minded than those in Thes·sa·lo·niʹca, for they accepted the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so" of what the apostle Paul was telling them was true, verifying it for themselves.
And Jehovah's Witnesses have been explaining that Jesus is NOT Almighty God for almost 150 years, but few listen to the scriptural evidence of him being "the only-begotten Son of God" (John 3:16), as Jesus told the Jews: "Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father (or is alive because the Father gave Jesus life), so also the one who feeds on me will live (forever) because of me (or by means of Jesus, being the channel through which they get everlasting life)."(John 6:57)
Only a few do as Micah 4:1-3 says: "In the final part of the days (that began in 1914, when Jesus was crowned king of God's Kingdom, Dan 7:13, 14; Rev 6:1, 2), the mountain of the house of Jehovah (or true worship) will become firmly established above the top of the (symbolic) mountains (or political governments with its nationalism that people worship), and it will be raised up above the (symbolic) hills (or notable institutions that people look up to for support and insight), and to it peoples will stream."
"And many nations (or people from all around the earth) will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For law will go out of (symbolic) Zion, and the word of Jehovah out of (symbolic) Jerusalem."
"He will render judgment among many peoples and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away (or bring "the truth" out for all to see, exposing falsehoods that have been taught for a long time). When the AntiChrist comes and claims he is Jesus, you will believe him? After the Anti-Christ the Real Jesus will come and tell you that he was not God, but a Holy Prophet and to make him a God was blasphemy.
The proper translation to John 1 v 1c is a god or divine Jesus is the word and he was with God but that doesn’t mean he was the God ?

I was there also Pastor Jack, for Walter Martin's teachings. I even went to his house in San Clemente and he invited me to breakfast and had me make The coffee, while I got to pick his brain on anything. Even about his life growing up, and testimony, and I shared mine too.

But, that's no reason not to fellowship with a good brother in Christ Jesus. Dr. Chuck Missler brought him to California, and he had the same differences with him. Still the same attitude applies. We weren't calling Believers heretics simply because of a minor doctrinal issue. He was a definite defender of the Faith.

I was shocked to learn from a newly found relative who is older and has done a lot of genealogy that I have Mormon ancestors.😮 Personally we were not raised knowing the Lord or attending church. Blessing in disguise? I learned about Jesus from a Southern Baptist church; baptized at age 12. Never mind all that. Just happy and blessed to hear the Truth & Power of God's Word.

Be careful, even with the right scriptures, they twist things around, and often deflect instead of answering. When speaking to them try to keep it on topic and not let them change it! Or get confused, they often leave me with a headache, but I still try, it's important we do! (I got out, they can get out too!)

A voice from heaven said "this is my son , whom I love, with him I am well pleased". God loves himself? Jesus said "My father, if it be possible let this cup pass from me. So God didn't know if it was possible? Why did Jesus need to pray to himself? Father forgive them for they know not what they do? "My God my God, why has thou forsaken me"? Seems to be separate entities. The way to the father is through me? Hmmm. When ever God or Jesus speaks about the other they always separate themselves from each other. I'm not a jehova or morman.
"For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Matthew 23:12)
Jesus is not going to go against his own law proclaiming he's God very directly. He said what He was going to fulfill Himself and what awaits those who believe in Him. He first humbles Himself (taking a human form, being vulnerable, suffering to take every sin upon Him) to be exalted on His divine spiritual form after (God/Holy Spirit).
Also, "My Father and I are one." (John 10:30) it is pretty clear and bold for the times. By that He means that He is the equal of the Father (God) He's talking about. "We are one" is like "We make one" which means He completes God.
Jesus said all authority was given to me on earth and heaven,who gave him that authority???Jesus said this is not my will but my father's will, Jesus made it clear he and Jehova are separate.the devil tempted Jesus, no one can tempt God, The devil wouldnt waste his time trying to tempt God.. Jesus 2 greatest commandments were to love your God Jehovah with all your mind heart and soul.2nd is to love your neighbor..If Jesus was God he would of made it a commandment he was God and to worship him,he never once said to worship him..
